Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical junction box having a base, a frame and a cover as the three basic parts thereof. A Ushaped wire stirrup engages and cooperates with camming surfaces on the frame and cover in a manner so as to permit the easy and convenient locking together of the three basic members of the junction box.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical housing assembly for a refrigeration machine which attaches to the casing wall of the refrigeration machine. The housing assembly encloses a plug element which is mounted on insulated guide pins which extend through the casing wall. The housing assembly comprises a plastic box which surrounds the plug element and a U-shaped spring for attaching the cover to the casing wall. Attaching means for the spring include guide track elements having hooking edges which facilitate the easy snapping of the spring into and out of its attached position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a spring suspension system for mounting a motor compressor unit of a refrigeration machine in its case. Flanged, rectangularly shaped brackets are fixedly attached to the inner casing wall. Cooperating brackets having an L-shape with one leg having the form of a frame are attached to the flanged brackets. Each bracket set has a nesting arrangement with the rectangularly shaped leg of the fixed bracket being nested in the frame part of the other bracket. The flange of one bracket has apertures for receiving a resilient stirrup which wedgingly maintains the other bracket in its installed position. The Lshaped brackets have bores which are respectively complementary to bores provided in the motor compressor unit. Coil spring are threadedly inserted in aligned pairs of bores to provide a resilient suspension system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a plug assembly for a small refrigerating unit or the like which plug assembly is equipped with one or more PTC resistors. Thermally loaded, ceramic resistors such as PTC resistors are generally brittle and have the characteristics of a substantial temperature expansion coefficient while being relatively weak structurally. The plug assembly accommodates one or more PTC resistors with a resistor holding device in which resiliently biased electrical contacts hold the resistors firmly in fixed positions while permitting the resistors to expand freely upon being heated without incurring stresses which would cause breakage.
