    Abstract: A valve device includes a housing, a stator disposed in the housing and defining at least one passage hole, a driving portion, a shaft configured to be rotated by a rotational force generated by the driving portion, and a rotor in contact with the stator and configured to adjust an amount of the fluid flowing through the at least one passage hole by rotating about an axis along with the shaft. One of an inner circumferential side surface of the housing or an outer circumferential side surface of the stator has at least one engaging protrusion and the other has at least one engaging recess. The at least one engaging protrusion is engaged with the at least one engaging recess such that the stator is restricted from rotating in a circumferential direction of the axis.

    Abstract: A valve device includes a flow path formation member provided with at least one flow path hole through which a fluid passes, and a drive part that outputs a rotational force. The valve device includes a shaft, and a rotor having a sliding surface that slides while facing an opening surface of the flow path formation member where the flow path hole is opened, and the rotor is configured to increase or decrease an opening degree of the flow path hole with rotation of the shaft. The valve device includes an energization member that energizes the rotor toward the flow path formation member. The valve device includes a coupling structure configured to tiltably couple the shaft to the rotor such that a contact state between the sliding surface and the opening surface is held regardless of a posture or a position of the shaft.

    Abstract: A housing forms: a first space and a second space; and a third space that is placed on one side relative to the first space and the second space in one direction. A primary partition partitions between the first space and the second space, and secondary partitions partition the first space into a plurality of subspaces. A valve element has: a first communication passage extending through the valve element in the one direction; and a second communication passage recessed on the valve element from another side toward the one side in the one direction. In response to movement of the valve element, the valve element changes a subspace to be communicated with the third space through the first communication passage among the plurality of subspaces and also changes another subspace to be communicated with the second space through the second communication passage among the plurality of subspaces.

    Abstract: A torsion spring that is used in a throttle valve device increasing and decreasing an opening degree of an intake passage or an exhaust passage of an internal-combustion engine includes: two coil springs connected with each other so that torsion directions are opposite from each other; and a hook disposed between the two coil springs. Of the two coil springs, one side spring arranged at one side in an axial direction biases a valve object to a closing side, and the other side spring arranged at the other side in the axial direction biases the valve object to an opening side. In at least one coil spring of the two coil springs, a dimension of a clearance between the at least one coil spring and the hook connected with each other is larger than an average value of clearances between coil turns of the at least one coil spring.
