Abstract: In a high-pressure pump, a center of load in a virtual plane including an end face of a coil spring facing a pressurizing chamber in an axial direction is defined as an upper load center, and a center of load in a virtual plane including an end face of the coil spring facing a cam in the axial direction is defined as a lower load center. The coil spring is configured such that, when viewed in the axial direction, during motion of a plunger toward the pressurizing chamber by rotation of the cam, the upper load center moves in one direction along a circumference of the coil spring while the lower load center moves in an opposite direction along the circumference of the coil spring, and the lower load center substantially coincides with the upper load center and subsequently further moves in the opposite direction.

Abstract: A rotor is placed on one axial side relative to a passage hole forming portion at an inside of a housing. A differential pressure device is placed on the one axial side relative to the rotor and has a pressure chamber. The housing has: a one-side space that is placed on the one axial side relative to the rotor; and at least one other-side space that is placed on another axial side, which is opposite to the one axial side, relative to the passage hole forming portion. The bracket connects the filter to the housing. The lid covers the opening and defines a discharge port through which the fuel is supplied to the outside. The fuel passage connects the fuel pump to the discharge port. The pressure regulating valve has a gravity center inside a space defined by a first virtual cylindrical surface including the housing. A minimum circumscribed circle of both the housing and the filter is smaller than the opening.

Abstract: A fuel supply device includes a pump unit, a lid unit and a strut linking unit. The pump unit is located on a bottom of a fuel tank for discharging fuel from the fuel tank to an outside thereof. The lid unit is attached to an upper wall of the fuel tank to close an opening formed in the upper wall. The lid unit has a fuel discharge port. The strut linking unit connects the lid unit to the pump unit. The strut linking unit includes an upper-side strut member, which is formed as an independent component from the lid unit. The strut linking unit includes a lower-side strut member, which is movably connected to the upper-side strut member in a vertical direction. The upper-side strut member is connected to the lid unit by a snap-fit connection. A connecting portion between the upper-side strut member and the lid unit has a stress concentration portion, which is preferentially damaged when an external force is applied to the strut linking unit.
