Abstract: An actuator drives a boost pressure control valve of a supercharger and includes an electric motor, an output shaft, a speed reducer, a rotational angle sensor, a housing and a wiring holder member. The wiring holder member is formed separately from the housing and integrally holds: a sensing device of the rotational angle sensor; and an electric wiring of the electric motor and of the sensing device. A second housing segment of the housing includes a connector insertion hole that extends through the second housing segment from an inside to an outside of the housing. The wiring holder member forms a connector that receives an end portion of the electric wiring and projects from the inside to the outside of the housing through the connector insertion hole.

Abstract: A boss is shaped in a tubular form and is injection molded integrally with a housing that forms a flow passage. A ring member is press-fitted to an inner peripheral wall of the boss. A shaft placed on a radially inner side of the ring member is configured to be rotated about a central axis. A movable valve is coupled to a portion of the shaft and is configured to adjust a size of a cross-sectional area of a passage opening at the flow passage. Each of gate marks of the housing is a trace of a site of the housing where molten resin is injected at a time of injection molding of the housing. Each of ribs radially inwardly projects from the inner peripheral wall of the boss and is placed at a corresponding location of the boss which is between adjacent two of the gate marks.

Abstract: An actuator drives a boost pressure control valve of a supercharger of an engine and includes an electric motor, an output shaft, a speed reducer, a rotational angle sensor and a housing. The speed reducer includes three pairs of metal gears and is configured to reduce a speed of rotation outputted from the electric motor and transmit the rotation to the output shaft. The rotational angle sensor includes a magnetic circuit device and a sensing device and senses a rotational angle of the output shaft. The housing receives the metal gears and the magnetic circuit device in a common space and supports the output shaft. In an installed state of the actuator where the actuator is installed to the engine, a meshing portion of the metal gears is located on a lower side of a magnetic circuit lowest point in the gravity direction.

Abstract: An actuator includes an electric motor, an output shaft and a speed reducer. The speed reducer is configured to transmit rotation, which is outputted from the motor, to the output shaft after reducing a speed of the rotation outputted from the motor. The speed reducer includes an output gear joined to the output shaft and a compound gear. The compound gear includes a large diameter gear, which has a plurality of large gear teeth, and a small diameter gear, which has a plurality of small gear teeth. One of the large diameter gear and the small diameter gear is a metal gear, which is made of a metal member, while another one of the large diameter gear and the small diameter gear is a resin gear, which is made of a resin member, and the resin gear is integrally molded together with the metal gear in one piece.

Abstract: A valve device includes: a housing; a passage forming portion that has at least one passage hole configured to conduct a fluid; a drive device that is configured to output a rotational force; and a shaft that is configured to be rotated about a central axis. The valve device includes: a rotor that is configured to increase or decrease an opening degree of the at least one passage hole in response to rotation of the shaft; and a torsion spring that surrounds the central axis and is configured to urge the shaft relative to the housing in a circumferential direction of the central axis of the shaft. The housing has a stopper that is configured to contact the shaft and thereby limit a rotational drive range of the shaft when the shaft is rotated to a predetermined position. The stopper is placed at an inside of the torsion spring.

Abstract: A valve device includes a housing, a stationary valve and a drive valve. The stationary valve is placed in a fluid passage of the housing. The stationary valve forms a first passage, which conducts fluid, and a penetrating chamber which penetrates through the stationary valve in the axial direction. Abstract: A valve device includes a stationary disk, a shaft and a rotor. The valve device includes: a housing that has a boss portion, through which the shaft is inserted; and a seal member that is shaped in a ring form and is configured to seal a gap between the shaft and the boss portion. The shaft includes a holder that has a contact portion which is in contact with the seal member. The holder is made of a polymer material which includes reinforcing fibers contained in resin. At least the contact portion at the holder extends in an axial direction of the shaft, and a distal end portion of the holder located on one side in the axial direction is coupled to a gear arrangement of a drive device. The distal end portion of the holder has a trace of an injection gate for injecting the polymer material.
