Abstract: In a valve device, a rotor includes a drive disk and a lever fixed to the drive disk. The lever couples between the drive disk and a shaft. In the valve device, a first torsion spring is placed between a housing and the shaft, and a second torsion spring is placed between the shaft and the lever. A drive device includes an electric motor configured to drive the shaft in a rotational drive range, which is between an initial rotational position and a maximum rotational position, in a first rotational direction toward the initial rotational position and a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction. The first torsion spring urges the shaft relative to the housing in the second rotational direction in the state where the shaft is placed in the initial rotational position upon the rotation of the shaft in the first rotational direction.

Abstract: In a valve device, a rotor has a hole closing portion configured to increase or decrease a covered area of a first flow hole of a stator in response to rotation of the rotor. The hole closing portion has a hole closing portion edge which extends in a radial direction of a predetermined axis and is located at a circumferential end of the hole closing portion on one side in a circumferential direction. In a state where the first flow hole is closed by the hole closing portion, when the rotor is rotated toward another side, which is opposite to the one side in the circumferential direction, the hole closing portion begins to open the first flow hole. The first flow hole has a one-side hole edge which is located at a circumferential end of the first flow hole on the one side and extends in the radial direction.

Abstract: A valve device includes: a driving source making rotational motion; a rotated part provided rotatably around a predetermined axis; and a fluid passage portion having a flow hole for passing a fluid. Abstract: A position detector apparatus includes a detector part, wiring, a resin part, a resin body, a terminal, and a lead frame. The resin part has a thickness at a wiring side portion of the detector part that is greater than a thickness on a side opposite to the wiring side portion. Therefore, when injection-molding the resin part, due to a thickness change of the resin part, the detector part is pressed against a metal mold and a position of the detecting part is fixed. Further, the resin body has a thick-resin portion and a thin-resin portion. The thickness of the thin-resin portion allows a predetermined amount of dislocation of the detector part. Therefore, if the detector part is exposed, water is prevented from intruding the lead frame and the terminal.

Abstract: In a valve device, a housing has a mounting portion that contacts a back surface of a stationary disk which is opposite to a contact surface of the stationary disk while the contact surface is opposed to a rotor.
