Abstract: A residual quantity sensor includes a conductive member having a first insulated wire and a second insulated wire. The first insulated wire and the second insulated wire have bared portions at an end thereof to provide a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode provide an electrode section of the conductive member. The first insulated wire and the second insulated wire are twisted to each other at a part thereof to provide a twisted section of the conductive member. The conductive member is to be installed to a tank such that the electrode section is disposed in a tank body, and the twisted section is extended to an outside of the tank through a vent hole of a tank cap attached to the tank body.

Abstract: A charge controller is used for a vehicle equipped with a rotating machine, a main battery for storing electrical power supplied to the rotating machine, a power storage device, and a solar power generator. The charge controller includes a power converter, a first charging section, a step-up section, and a second charging section. The power converter is interposed between the solar power generator and the storage device. The first charging section controls the power converter to store electrical power generated by the solar power generator in the storage device. The step-up section steps up and outputs the power stored in the power strange device to the main battery. The second charging section controls the step-up section to charge the main battery with the power stored in the power storage device.

Abstract: A charging apparatus includes a power generation device, a first charging circuit, a second charging circuit, and a control circuit. The first charging circuit has an input terminal coupled to the power generation device and an output terminal coupled to a low-voltage battery. The first charging circuit increases or reduces an output voltage of the power generation device and charges the low-voltage battery. The second charging circuit has an input terminal and an output terminal coupled to a high-voltage battery having a voltage higher than the low-voltage battery. The second charging circuit increases a voltage inputted from the input terminal of the second charging circuit and charges the high-voltage battery.
