Abstract: In a MG control device, a standard voltage calculation part calculates a d axis standard voltage and a q axis standard voltage in a standard state in which no demagnetization occurs in permanent magnets of a MG. A magnetic flux change amount estimation value calculation part calculates a basic magnetic flux change amount estimation value based on a deviation of a specific value from the q-axis standard voltage. This specific value is obtained by multiplying q axis real voltage with a ratio of the d axis standard voltage and the d axis real voltage. A magnetic flux change amount estimation value correction part adjusts a magnetic flux change amount estimation value by correcting the basic magnetic flux change amount estimation value relatively to a detection threshold value based on characteristic change of the MG in a demagnetization state of the permanent magnets of the MG.

Abstract: An inverter ECU is applied to a hybrid vehicle having an engine and a motor generator as drive power source and a motor generator control system. A drive control part generates drive signals for an inverter based on torque request to the motor generator. A temperature information acquiring part acquires an element temperature value and a cooling water temperature value as an inverter temperature value. An abnormality detection part detects whether the inverter temperature value is within a diagnosable temperature range, and performs abnormality detection for the motor generator control system when the inverter temperature value is within the diagnosable temperature range. When the inverter temperature value is not placed within the diagnosable temperature range, the energy supplied to the inverter is adjusted to move the inverter temperature value into the diagnosis allowable temperature range to correctly perform the abnormality detection.

Abstract: When a request of a warming-up of a transmission is generated, a hybrid ECU sets a target input rotational speed of the transmission where a heat loss quantity of a MG becomes maximum, based on a request driving force of a vehicle. In this case, the heat loss quantity is a quantity of a heat loss causing an increasing of a temperature of an ATF in the MG. Thus, the hybrid ECU sets the target input rotational speed where the heat loss quantity becomes maximum and controls the transmission and the MG to output power that meets the request driving force of the vehicle. Since the hybrid ECU controls a torque of the MG, a torque of the engine, and a transmission ratio of the transmission to achieve the target input rotational speed, the hybrid ECU controls the MG, the engine, and the transmission in a condition that the heat loss quantity becomes maximum.

Abstract: A motor-generator control part controls driving of a motor-generator, which is a drive power source of a vehicle. A torque limitation part of the MG control part limits a torque of the motor-generator when an element temperature indicating a system temperature increases to be higher than a limitation starting temperature. The torque limitation part continues the torque limitation, which was performed when the element temperature was at a peak temperature, until a limitation continuation period elapses, when the element temperature changes from increasing to decreasing as a result of limiting the torque of the motor-generator. Thus torque variation is suppressed while also suppressing overheating of a motor-generator driving system.
