Abstract: A travel control apparatus is provided. The travel control apparatus acquires driver abnormality information indicative of an abnormality of a driver of a vehicle, makes a determination that the driver is in a driving difficulty state based at least on the driver abnormality information, and activates a lane departure prevention function and a cruise control function of the vehicle at substantially the same time during a time period between when the driver abnormality information is acquired and when the driving difficulty state is determined. Together with activating the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function, the travel control apparatus outputs notification request information to a human machine interface controller controlling a notification device which issues a notification to a passenger of the vehicle. The notification request information causes the notification indicative of activation of the lane departure prevention function and the cruise control function to be issued.

The occupant notification display includes: an explanatory image that shows an explanation of a process executed currently; and a progress image that indicates a degree of progress in the automatic evacuation control.

Abstract: A steering assist control system causes multiple actuator units to control an assist torque that provides assistance in steering in accordance with a turning operation on a steering wheel in a vehicle having an information presentation apparatus. The steering assist control system includes: a monitoring part that monitors the actuator units; a torque control part that reduces, in a case of a one-unit anomaly, the assist torque that results from combining output torques from all the actuator units, when the turning operation is performed on the steering wheel; and a warning control part controls the information presentation apparatus. In the case of the one-unit anomaly, the torque control part reduces the assist torque so that the assist torque is smaller than an assist torque output before the occurrence of the one-unit anomaly, every time the turning operation proceeds by a set angle.

Abstract: A drive mode switch control device acquires operation information. The drive mode switch control device switches a drive state among at least an autonomous drive state, a manual drive state, and a coordination drive state. Abstract: An information presentation apparatus is provided. A light emission device and a HCU are mounted on a vehicle as the information presentation apparatus. The light emission device is arranged on an instrument panel, and displays at least one light emission spot in a linear light emission area arranged to extend in a width direction of the vehicle. The HCU acquires monitoring information including at least position information of the risk target detected by the peripheral monitoring device, and calculates a risk level of the risk target, detected in a traveling direction of the vehicle, based on the monitoring information. When detecting a plurality of the risk targets, the HCU selects one of the risk targets having a highest risk level as a highest risk target, and displays the light emission spot, indicative of a direction of the highest risk target, in the linear light emission area.
