Abstract: A car finder system has a portable terminal that receives a preset operation performed thereon for wirelessly transmitting a preset car finder instruction. A communication device of the car finder system receives the preset car finder instruction from the portable device, and repeatedly transmits a preset car finder signal to an in-vehicle device, which is disposed in a vehicle. The in-vehicle device performs an external notification operation when it receives the preset car finder signal. The communication device ends the transmission of the preset car finder signal when a predetermined condition is met.

Abstract: A heat flux sensor is installed in such a way that heat flux emanating from a biological object present at a predetermined position is detectable. It is determined whether or not a biological object is present at the predetermined position by comparing sensing results of the heat flux sensor with determination criteria. The determination criteria is preset according to heat flux that can be sensed when a biological object is present at the predetermined position. When the sensing results of the heat flux sensor satisfy the determination criteria, in other words, when the heat flux sensed by the heat flux sensor is the heat flux emanating from a biological object, it is determined that a biological object is present at the predetermined position. Consequently, it is possible to realize accurate detection of a biological object.

Abstract: A temperature adjustment control device includes a heat diffusion layer, a heat flux sensor, and a temperature changing body provided in this order from a surface making contact with a human body. The heat flux sensor is disposed on the temperature changing body and outputs a sensor signal corresponding to a heat flux. The heat diffusion layer is disposed opposite to the temperature changing body through the heat flux sensor. The heat flux sensor outputs the sensor signal corresponding to the heat flux passing through the heat flux sensor in a direction in which the heat diffusion layer, the heat flux sensor, and the temperature changing body are arranged. A control portion controls a start and a stop of the power supply to the temperature changing body based on the sensor signal outputted from the heat flux sensor.

Abstract: A heat quantity control device has a heat flux sensor arranged between first and second heating elements arranged adjacently to each other, and a control section for controlling a heat quantity of the first and second heating elements. The heat flux sensor has an insulation board made of thermoplastic resin, first and second via holes formed in the insulation board penetrating in a thickness direction thereof. First and second layer connection members are embedded in the first and second via holes, respectively. The first and second layer connection members are made of different metals and alternately connected in series. The control section controls a heat quantity generated in the first and second heating elements based on the electromotive force generated in the heat flux sensors so that a heat flux flowing between the first and second heating elements becomes not more than a predetermined value.

Abstract: In a step of pressing a laminate, the laminate is first pressed while being heated to a temperature lower than a melting point of a thermoplastic resin so as to elastically deform the thermoplastic resin and apply a pressure in a direction perpendicular to a laminating direction to thereby allow first and second conductive pastes to tightly adhere to front and rear surface patterns. Next, the laminate is pressed while being heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin so as to fluidize the thermoplastic resin while allowing the thermoplastic resin to flow out from the laminate and apply a pressure in the direction perpendicular to the laminating direction to thereby allow the first and second conductive pastes are solid-sintered.

The living body detecting means are arranged on the road surface side, and the control unit, when determining that no living body is present around the electric transmission pad on the basis of a result from the living body detecting means, controls the power supply unit to supply power to the power storage unit.
