摘要: An actuator includes a manually operable portion that is operable to transmit rotation to an output shaft. The manually operable portion is provided such that the manually operable portion extends through a housing while at least a portion of the manually operable portion is exposed to an outside of the housing. In this way, even in a case where the actuator becomes inoperable, it is possible to change a shift range by rotating the output shaft through operation of the manually operable portion. It is only required to have a connection hole, which is conventionally provided at an outer wall of a transmission case, as a hole, which connects this rotary actuator to a shift range change mechanism. Therefore, it is sufficient to perform only a relatively small improvement, such as providing screw holes for fixing the actuator in a preexisting transmission.

摘要: A manual release device for a parking lock mechanism includes an operating lever, a cable and an idle motion mechanism. The idle motion mechanism includes a body portion, a lever provided on the body portion, a helical compression spring, and a contact portion provided on the shaft. The cable is coupled to the lever. A distal end of the lever is arranged below a turning center of the lever. The parking lock mechanism is configured, when the parking lock mechanism is in a locked state, to be switched into an unlocked state as the body portion contacts the contact portion to cause the shaft to turn when the lever is turned against an urging force of the urging member as a result of operation of the operating lever to cause the body portion to turn from the normal position to the actuated position.

摘要: A control device includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to perform autonomous driving of a vehicle to autonomously control at least a vehicle speed so that the vehicle speed follows a preset target vehicle speed; store a relationship between the vehicle speed and noise that is generated by a vehicle part rotated in association with running of the vehicle; determine, based on the relationship, whether the noise is equal to or larger than a preset determination threshold when the vehicle runs at the target vehicle speed; and when the electronic control unit determines that the noise is equal to or larger than the determination threshold, determine a vehicle speed at which the noise is lower than the determination threshold, and change the target vehicle speed to the vehicle speed at which the noise is lower than the determination threshold.

Therefore, it is possible to reduce tooth hammer noise that occurs in the spline fitting portion.

摘要: A tolerance ring is interposed between an output side rotary shaft and a rotor shaft. For this reason, even in a case where a backlash formed in a spline fitting portion between the output side rotary shaft and the rotor shaft is not eliminated, the rotary shafts of both of the output side rotary shaft and the rotor shaft are held by the tolerance ring without a backlash, and rattling noise can be suppressed. An oil supply groove for supplying a lubricant between an annular portion of the tolerance ring and the output side rotary shaft is provided inside an annular groove formed in the output side rotary shaft. With this, it is possible to suppress degradation of the durability of the tolerance ring without performing special processing on the tolerance ring.
