    Abstract: A facility for testing location determination for emergency calls is described. Software on a mobile device collects a GPS location from the mobile device, and places an emergency call that encloses information usable by the emergency call processing system to calculate mobile device location. After the system performs this calculation, the call is detected to be a testing call and routed to a computer rather than an emergency dispatcher. The computer sends an SMS or other non-telephony message to the mobile device containing the calculated location. The mobile device stores the collected GPS location and the calculated location received in the non-telephony message together for comparison.

    Abstract: Various cellular tower plate connection systems are detailed herein. Such systems can include an antenna plate assembly. This assembly can include an antenna plate and antenna port connectors attached to a first side of the antenna plate. Cable connectors may be present that are attached to a second side of the antenna plate opposite the first side of the antenna plate. The assembly can include a first attachment mechanism that secures antenna port connectors to antenna ports of an antenna system. The antenna port connectors may be arranged on the first side of the antenna plate such that the antenna port connectors mate with the antenna ports of the antenna system in a single possible orientation.

    Abstract: Novel techniques are described for network tracking of contagion propagation through host populations. For example, location information of networked devices can be tracked and stored to generate contact profiles of individuals with respect to other individuals in the population. One or more contagion profiles can also be stored in association with respective one or more pathogens to identify propagation characteristics of the pathogen. Responsive to an individual being diagnosed as an infected individual with respect to a particular contagious pathogen, a propagation model can automatically be generated for the infected individual based on the contagion profile of the particular contagious pathogen and the contact profile of the infected individual. The propagation model can be used to identify one or more suspect populations as having at least a threshold likelihood of having been infected by the infected individual. A response protocol can automatically be generated according to the pathogen-specific propagation model.

    Abstract: A method for testing a cell site during or after construction of the cell site is provided. In various embodiments, the method is implemented by a processor on a computing platform that includes a DU emulator. In those embodiments, the method includes establishing a first connection between a distributed unit (DU) emulator and a cell site router (CSR) of the cell site, wherein the DU emulator emulates functions of a DU; establishing a second connection between a radio unit (RU) and the CSR, wherein the RU is coupled to the DU emulator through the CSR; and causing, via the DU emulator, one or more tests to be performed at the cell site, wherein the one or more tests include at least one of a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) test, a passive intermodulation (PIM) test, a physical cell identifier (PCI) test, or a cable test.

    Abstract: Various cellular plate assemblies are described. A plate may be present having a first side and a second side. Port connectors can be arranged on the first side of the radio plate. Each port connector is configured to be connected with a different port of a cellular radio or cellular antenna system. Cable ports can arranged on the second side of the radio plate. Each cable port can be connected with a corresponding radio port connector of the plurality of radio port connectors. Further, each cable port is keyed differently such that only a particular keyed cable assembly can be mated with the cable port.
