Abstract: This disclosure presents systems and methods to cause an input device to provide movement-based output. Exemplary implementations may: establish a wireless connection between the one or more physical processors and an input device, the input device being configured to provide control signals for controlling a graphical user interface; determine motion control signals for the input device, the motion control signals dictating physical movement of the input device in a real-world environment; effectuate communication of the motion control signals to the input device thereby causing the input device to perform the physical movement in the real-world environment; and/or perform other operations.

Abstract: An entertainment system includes multiple figurines configured for wireless communication, and a control device having a hardware processor, a system memory storing a control application, and a transceiver. The hardware processor executes the control application to detect each of the figurines via the transceiver and to identify a predetermined entertainment for performance by two or more of the figurines. The hardware processor further executes the control application to transmit control signals to the two or more figurines via the transceiver, wherein a first control signal instructs a first of the two or more figurines to perform a first portion of the predetermined entertainment, and a second control signal instructs a second of the two or more figurines to perform a second portion of the predetermined entertainment. The two or more of the figurines are configured to perform the predetermined entertainment according to the control signals.

Abstract: Systems and methods to facilitate game profile development based on virtual and real activities of users are described herein. A user may perform virtual and/or real activities in order to develop a game profile so that the user can play one or more games where the game profile may be implemented. Users may be motivated to perform the virtual and/or real activities to develop the game profiles and show off and/or test their developed game profiles. The one or more games where the game profile may be implemented may be specific to one or more geo-graphic locations.

Abstract: A method, computer-readable medium, and system are disclosed for an interactive storytelling environment. The method comprises identifying a plurality of storytelling devices available to participate in a storytelling experience, including a first storytelling device at a first physical location and a second storytelling device at a remote second physical location. The method further comprises receiving, based on user input during playback of a story, an instruction to perform a first action of a predetermined plurality of actions using the second storytelling device, the user input indicating a user interaction with a depiction of the second storytelling device at the first physical location. The method further comprises performing, based on timing information included in the received instruction, the first action using the second storytelling device such that performing the first action is at least partly synchronized with performance of an animation sequence of the depicted second storytelling device.

Abstract: A method and associated computer program product and system are disclosed. The method comprises, while a battery-operated vehicle is not being charged by a power supply, receiving a first input at a user interface displayed on a computing device. The method further comprises, responsive to the first input, wirelessly transmitting a first control signal to the battery-operated vehicle to control motive operation thereof. The method further comprises, responsive to receiving an indication that the battery-operated vehicle is being charged by the power supply, displaying one or more tasks to be completed using the user interface. The method further comprises receiving a second input at the user interface while the one or more tasks are displayed, and responsive to the second input, wirelessly transmitting a second control signal to operate one or more output devices of the battery-operated vehicle.

Abstract: According to one implementation, a stereoscopic image display system includes a computing platform having one or more hardware processor(s), a system memory storing a software code, an autostereoscopic display, and a user tracking unit controlled by the hardware processor(s). The hardware processor(s) execute the software code to utilize the user tracking unit to detect a left eye location and a right eye location of a user of the stereoscopic image display system, and to determine a left eye image and a right eye image corresponding to an output image of a content being played out by the stereoscopic image display system based on the respective left eye location and right eye location of the user. The hardware processor(s) further execute the software code to render the left eye image and the right eye image using the autostereoscopic display to generate a three-dimensional (3D) image of the output image.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for providing event enhancement using augmented reality (AR) effects. In one implementation, such a system includes a computing platform having a hardware processor and a memory storing an AR effect generation software code. The hardware processor is configured to execute the AR effect generation software code to receive a venue description data corresponding to an event venue, to identify the event venue based on the venue description data, and to identify an event scheduled to take place at the event venue. The hardware processor is further configured to execute the AR effect generation software code to generate one or more AR enhancement effect(s) based on the event and the event venue, and to output the AR enhancement effect(s) for rendering on a display of a wearable AR device during the event.
