    摘要： An apparatus, system, and method are related to navigating through content on a device that includes stored information that is organized according to channels. Content that is associated with the channels is selected and viewed on a display of the device by means of passive interaction when the device is in a glance-view operating state. The device periodically changes the display according to a playlist that indexes selected channel views associated with the current channel. The selected channel views are selected from the available channels according to a rule set that is associated with the channel. After every item in the playlist is processed, the playlist is updated according to application of the rule set. A customized channel may include references to other channels such that channel views associated with the customized channel correspond to channel views from other channels.

    摘要： In various example embodiments, a system and method to provide services associated with an image is disclosed. The method includes receiving image data of an item of interest from a client device. The image data is used to identify a similar item from an image catalog based on the image data of the item. Attribute information associated with the similar item is retrieved and used to pre-populate a template. The pre-populated template is sent to the client device, and modified data from the client device is received in response, with the modified data resulting in a final template. A listing based on the final template is generated.

One or more types of data can be retrieved and presented to a user based upon the user input. Search results can be displayed and dynamically updated as additional user input is obtained.

    摘要： When an input device, which may be a portable communications device, receives a keyword input from a user, an advertisement associated with the keyword, and stored on the device, is displayed. Then, a signal is transmitted to a remote site which indicates that the advertisement was displayed. In some embodiments, an advertiser pays a fee associated with the advertising being displayed, and may also pay a fee to place the advertisement on the device. A user has the option of turning off the advertisements, and/or of being paid a fee when the advertisements are displayed on his or her device. Specific advertisements may be displayed based on the physical location of the device.

For example, a method to deliver a dynamic context sensitive offer can include operations for generating a dynamic offer, delivering the dynamic offer, receiving data associated with a user, updating a context input with data associated with the user, and adjusting the value of the dynamic offer. Generating the dynamic offer includes associating a rule for manipulating the value of the dynamic offer based on a context input. Updating the context input of the rule includes extracting context information from the data associated with the user. Adjusting the value of the dynamic offer can be based on reevaluation of the rule with the updated context input.

The rendering and display instructions include the status information and enables generation of status indicators from the status information for display over the image gallery at the client device. The rendering and display instructions may also include instructions for displaying the image gallery. The status information at the client device may be updated as status information changes.
