    摘要: Services having associated metadata meeting particular criteria can be discovered. One or more services are stored. The services provide service objects to service requesters. Service requestors include compiled code and the service objects include compiled code that is linked to the compiled code of a service requester at runtime and that is executable by the compiled code of the service requestor. A metadata file is associated with each one of the services. A query message is received and includes a search query specifying particular criteria. At least some of the metadata files are searched to determine if one or more of the metadata files contain metadata that matches the particular criteria. When at least one of the metadata files contains metadata matching the particular criteria, the service associated with the metadata file is identified.

    摘要: An appropriate version of a service for use by a service requestor is selected based on metadata. A request for a service object provided by a service is received from a service requestor. Multiple, different versions of the service are determined, and metadata associated with the multiple, different versions of the service is examined to select a version of the service that is compatible with the service requestor. The requested service object is instantiated from the version of the service that is compatible with the service requester. The service requestor is enabled to access the instantiated service object.

    摘要: A code module is loaded in-process or out-of-process depending on metadata. The code module implements a service and the metadata is associated with the service. The metadata also indicates whether the code module is to be loaded in-process or out-of-process. A request for a service object provided by the service is received from a service requestor. The metadata is examined to determine whether the code module is to be loaded in-process or out-of-process and, when the metadata indicates the code module is to be loaded in-process, the code module is loaded into the process of the service requester. When the metadata indicates the code module is to be loaded out-of-process, the code module is loaded into a host process separate from the process of the service requester. The requested service object is instantiated using the loaded code module and the service requestor is enabled to access the instantiated service object.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are wireless devices operable at intermediate wireless at ranges of thousands of meters, utilizing packets that include a preamble and a data payload. Devices may be such things as keypads, door latches, occupancy monitors, sprinkler controllers and other devices needing a communications link. Devices include an intermediate-range transceiver and a separate deployment wireless interface accessible from a mobile device such as a cellular telephone or portable tablet. Devices can be registered in a database and deployed for use by means of an application running on the mobile device. A scannable label bearing a code can be affixed to a wireless device providing a means of tracking, identifying and verifying a device through the deployment process. Detailed information on various example embodiments of the inventions are provided in the Detailed Description below, and the inventions are defined by the appended claims.

    摘要: A device for opening a sealed flexible packet and for dispensing its contents has a flexible body that allows a user to dispense a product from a sealed packet with the use of only one hand. The device has a body with a flexible a flexible outer wall defining a slot into which a user can place a sealed packet. The inner surface of the body has blades that pierce the packet when the body is squeezed around the packet. Further squeezing of the body causes the contents of the packet to be dispensed through openings in the body. The body is spring biased to a position to facilitate loading a packet, unloading the packet after dispensing the product, and replacing it with a sealed packet, all with the use of only one hand. Tabs at the end of the body help keep it upright during loading and unloading.

    摘要: Various methods and systems for creating or performing a dynamic sampling scheme for a process during which measurements are performed on wafers are provided. One method for creating a dynamic sampling scheme for a process during which measurements are performed on wafers includes performing the measurements on all of the wafers in at least one tot at all measurement spots on the wafers. The method also includes determining an optimal sampling scheme, an enhanced sampling scheme, a reduced sampling scheme, and thresholds for the dynamic sampling scheme for the process based on results of the measurements. The thresholds correspond to values of the measurements at which the optimal sampling scheme, the enhanced sampling scheme, and the reduced sampling scheme are to be used for the process.
