The water-miscible form is provided in a wide variety of ways such as mechanical agitation (e.g. sonication), addition of a surfactant (e.g. a detergent), etc. The invention also provides labeled containers, including dispensers, containing a composition comprising a water-insoluble alcohol in a water miscible form and an affixed legible label providing instructions for the use of the composition for mosquito abatement.
