Initializing may be performed as part of special reset mode processing. Special reset mode processing may be performed in response to receiving a reset command. The memory may be shared by a plurality of processing units and the reset command may be issued to reset a first processing unit causing reset of the memory and a second processing unit may use a first allocated memory portion that is maintained when initializing the memory as part of processing for the reset command. Saving may include adding an entry to an allocation list associated with the memory, the entry including a location associated with the memory allocation.

摘要： A leg-mounted pouch and coil-up leash that allows hands-free managing of a dog or other animal. A leg pouch can contain a bottom opening through which the leash can be threaded to the animal or a removable leash coil otherwise attached or a separate leg brace removable from the pouch can hold the leash coil. This allows the wearer to control the animal without having to take the hands or eyes off of a weapon or other equipment or stop to change hand or arm positions. In some embodiments, there is a water bottle that can supply liquid to the animal. Also, in other embodiments, a remote-controlled release can free the dog wirelessly for an attack or other purpose. A preferred embodiment can separate into four parts, a leg-worn pouch or pouches, a belt or leg-worn attachment that holds a coil-up leash, a separable water bottle with a delivery hose, and an animal collar with a wirelessly controlled release.

The preferred animal is a dog; however, any animal which can be trained to indicate detection of a target scent can be used. The air moving unit can be double or single. A single unit can contain one fan, while a double unit can contain a second fan. More fans can be added in series or parallel as needed to provide adequate airflow. The pickup device can also optionally contain a fan. The fans can be battery powered using fixed or rechargeable batteries. The battery or batteries can be external or internal to the unit. The air moving unit can be contained in a waist or backpack for ease in use. The scent pickup can also optionally contain a filter to filter out dust or unwanted particles. A system of hoses normally can be run between the pickup device and the air moving unit and between the air moving unit and the scent presentation device. The air moving unit can optionally be located in a widened section of the hoses or hoses.

摘要： A computer has instruction pipeline circuitry capable of executing two instruction set architectures (ISA's). A binary translator translates at least a selected portion of a computer program from a lower-performance one of the ISA's to a higher-performance one of the ISA's. Hardware initiates a query when about to execute a program region coded in the lower-performance ISA, to determine whether a higher-performance translation exists. If so, the about-to-be-executed instruction is aborted, and control transfers to the higher-performance translation. After execution of the higher-performance translation, execution of the lower-performance region is reestablished at a point downstream from the aborted instruction, in a context logically equivalent to that which would have prevailed had the code of the lower-performance region been allowed to proceed.

For each of selected ones of the services, access to a connector design process is provided via the services directory. The connector design process is operable to facilitate creation of a new connector for the corresponding service, and to specify at least one business process for mediating the business policy differences.
