    Abstract: A boron nitride powder that is an aggregate of boron nitride particles, wherein, when each of 20 boron nitride particles A that are selected from the boron nitride powder is crushed, a ratio of an average value Y (μm) to an average particle diameter X (μm) is 0.20 or more, wherein each of 20 boron nitride particles A is crushed by gradually applying a load at a loading rate of 0.7 mN/second in an arbitrary direction, the average particle diameter X (μm) is an average particle diameter of the boron nitride powder before applying the load, and the average value Y (μm) is displacement amounts in the direction of the boron nitride particles A until crushing.

    Abstract: A circuit board having electrodes has good thermal conductivity and excellent voltage resistance and a method of producing the same. The circuit board includes a first ceramic layer, a second ceramic layer laminated thereon, and a first metal layer between the ceramic layers. The circuit board has a metal layer existing zone between the ceramic layers, and a metal layer non-existing zone having no metal layer between the ceramic layers. The ceramic layers join in the metal layer non-existing zone, and the second ceramic layer is a porous boron nitride layer having voids filled with a thermosetting composition cured material. The method includes disposing a second ceramic sheet on a first laminate metal layer including a first ceramic layer and the first metal layer laminated thereon, and pressurizing under heating. The second ceramic sheet is a porous boron nitride sheet having voids filled with a thermosetting composition semi-cured material.

    Abstract: A method for producing an aggregated boron nitride particle, containing: a nitriding step of nitriding a particle containing boron carbide to obtain a particle containing boron carbonitride; and a decarburizing step of decarburizing the particle containing boron carbonitride to obtain an aggregated boron nitride particle, wherein, in the nitriding step, nitriding is performed so that boron carbide remains inside the particle containing boron carbonitride, and wherein, in the decarburizing step, the boron carbide remaining inside the particle containing boron carbonitride is removed.

    Abstract: A method of producing a resin sheet, including: mixing blocky boron nitride particles A, blocky boron nitride particles B, and a resin composition, and molding the resin composition to a sheet form and pressurizing the sheet form resin composition, the boron nitride primary particles a having a length in a shorter direction of 0.7 μm or less, the boron nitride primary particles b having a length in a shorter direction of 1 μm or more, the blocky boron nitride particles A having an average particle diameter of 30 μm or more, the blocky boron nitride particles B having an average particle diameter that is smaller than the average particle diameter of the blocky boron nitride particles A, the compressive strengths ratio of the blocky boron nitride particles A to the blocky boron nitride particles B being 1.2 or more. Thus, the thermal conductivity of a resin sheet can be enhanced.
