摘要： A power distribution system intended for use in a highly modular desk top computer system is disclosed. The invention provides a programmable modular DC power supply including a power module that produces a first fixed regulated DC voltage which is coupled from the power module to a power bus. Thereafter the first voltage is distributed to a plurality of DC-to-DC convertors, each of which is operable to change the first DC voltage to a second regulated DC voltage selected from a plurality of programmed voltage values.

摘要： A printed circuit board including a terminated power plane is described. Specifically, the power-ground plane construction includes a dielectric layer, a power plane having a peripheral edge, and a ground plane. The ground plane is spaced from the power plane by the dielectric layer, and is positioned in an opposed relationship to the power plane. The power-ground plane construction also includes a termination element coupling the power plane, at or adjacent the peripheral edge thereof, to the ground plane so as to terminate the power plane. In one embodiment, a plurality of termination elements couple the power plane, at or adjacent the peripheral edge thereof, to the ground plane. The termination elements are spaced from each other at substantially regular intervals. In another embodiment, a termination element is a strip or sheet element coupling continuous lengths of the peripheral edge of the power plane to ground plane.

摘要： There is disclosed a stripline interdigital filter fabricated in a self-supporting structure and including a plurality of parallel-coupled resonators. The parallel-coupled resonators are disposed between first and second ground planes, which first ground plane being removably mounted to the filter housing to facilitate interchanging of the first ground plane with another ground plane so dimensioned that the spacing between the parallel-coupled resonators and the first ground plane is varied a predetermined amount whereby the band-pass characteristics of the filter are varied.
