摘要: A fire-rated angle piece and wall assemblies or other assemblies that incorporate the fire-rated angle piece, in which the angle piece can include an intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The angle can be attached adjacent to a corner of a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed between the framing member and a wall board member at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. A fire spray material can be applied over a portion of the angle piece.

摘要: An apparatus for conditioning mammalian blood for subsequent use in a medical procedure includes a cabinet having a secure environment and a door providing the only access to the environment. An input system transports a blood charge from a source to the cabinet and a flask is removably contained in the secure environment and coupled to the charge input system to receive the charge. Stressors are coupled to the cabinet and positioned for operation to create a conditioned charge in the flask. An output system is coupled to the flask and includes a receiver for the conditioned charge. The apparatus includes an automated control system operable upon closing the door to lock the door and to then condition the charge, and to then cause the charge to move from the flask to the receiver.

摘要: A work vehicle comprising a motor, a drive unit for driving a ground engaging portion, a torque converter for variably transferring power from the motor to the ground engaging portion, a lubrication circuit for providing lubrication fluid to the torque converter, and a control valve located between the torque converter and the lubrication circuit. The work vehicle further having a linkage for performing a work function, an actuator to controllably move the linkage, a sensor coupled to the actuator to sense a force opposing the actuator, and a controller in communication with the sensor and the control valve. The controller is adapted to command a crowd reduction in response to the sensed force opposing the linkage, whereby the pressure of the lubrication fluid provided to the torque converter is reduced.

摘要: A musical instrument rest for attachment to an instrument having a neck. The rest provides a buffer between the instrument and a surface. The rest has an instrument side, surface side and a thickness between said instrument side and said surface side. The surface side being adapted to contact the surface in order to prevent damage to the surface. The thickness being compressible and wherein the rest is adapted to be attached to the musical instrument in the area of the neck. The weight of the instrument pressing the rest against the wall surface provides a frictional force to hold the rest and the headstock against the wall surface without damaging the wall surface. The frictional force will prevent the instrument from sliding or falling down. The compressibility of the rest will prevent damage to the wall surface.

摘要: The foregoing invention relates to a new microbubble preparation and thrombolytic therapy which relies on microbubbles and ultrasound for its lytic activity. The pharmaceutical composition of the invention comprises a liquid solution of microbubbles with an internal atmosphere enhanced with the perfluorocarbon gas which cavitate in the presence of an ultrasound field following intravenous injection or infusion of said composition into said host. For thrombolysis the area of a thrombus is exposed to an ultrasound field in the presence of the microbubbles and significant lysis is experienced. The method and pharmaceutical composition of the invention exhibit thrombolytic properties similar to those of other thrombolytic agents such as urokinase and are less toxic and are clot specific in that they do not introduce a systemic lytic state to a said animal.
