    Abstract: A method is provided to decrease the time required to introgress three or more desired traits from donor plant lines into an elite plant background. The method comprises crossing two donor plants, wherein the donor plants have each been backcrossed to have a high recurrent parent percentage and share one desired locus to be introgressed into the elite plant background.
