摘要: An aqueous leather coating composition having improved storage stability includes 1 to 40 weight percent of an emulsifiable polyisocyanate comprising the reaction product of an isocyanurate and an emulsifier, wherein the average isocyanate functionality of the emulsifiable polyisocyanate is 2 to 4.5; and 60 to 99 weight percent of an aqueous polymer dispersion having a Tg of −70 to 40° C. and selected from a (meth)acrylic polymer dispersion, a polyurethane dispersion, a (meth)acrylic polymer/polyurethane hybrid dispersion and a combination comprising one or more of the foregoing aqueous polymer dispersions, wherein all weight percents are on a dry basis, and based on the total dry amount of the emulsifiable polyisocyanate and the aqueous polymer dispersion. The aqueous polymer dispersion can be free of hydroxyl groups. Also disclosed are a method of coating leather with the composition, and a coated leather article.

摘要: Composites having a polymer or natural leather skin layer and a polyurethane foam layer are made in a molding process. The polyurethane foam layer is made from a foam formulation that includes certain polyester polyols. The presence of the polyester polyol improves flow characteristics of the foam formulation. The foam so produced has unexpectedly low quantities of VOCs.

摘要: Recovery times and/or airflow of flexible polyurethane foam is increased by including certain tackifiers in the foam formulation. The tackifiers are characterized in being incompatible with polyol or polyol mixture used to make the foam, having a viscosity of at least 5,000 centipoise at 25 #C and having a glass transition temperature of at most 20 #C. The tackifier is pre-blended with certain monols to form a lower-viscosity blend that is combined with one or more other polyols and a polyisocyanate to form a reaction mixture for producing a polyurethane foam.

摘要: The present disclosure provides for an agrochemical emulsion with reduced spray drift that includes an emulsion pre-mix concentrate, an acrylate-based copolymer, and an aqueous based agrochemical composition. The agrochemical emulsion includes 0.05 to 5 weight percent (wt %) of the emulsion pre-mix concentrate, 0.05 to 5 wt. % of the acrylate-based copolymer and 90 to 99.9 wt. % of the aqueous based agrochemical composition. The emulsion pre-mix concentrate includes 40 to 70 wt. % of an alkylene glycol ether, 10 to 40 wt. % of a vegetable-oil, and a surfactant, where the wt. % of the surfactant is 0.5 to 2 times the wt. % of the vegetable-oil wt. %, where the wt. % values are based on the total weight of the emulsion pre-mix concentrate and the wt. % of the alkylene glycol ether, the vegetable-oil and the surfactant total 100 wt. % of the emulsion pre-mix concentrate. The acrylate-based copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 0.5 to 1.5 million.
