    Abstract: A die assembly (5) including: (i) a die plate (10) having an inlet surface (15) and an opposing discharge surface (35); (ii) an inlet (30) on the inlet surface (15) and a first axis of symmetry (A) extending through the inlet (30) and perpendicular to the inlet surface (15); (iii) a discharge port (45) on the discharge surface (35) and a second axis of symmetry (B) extending through the discharge port (45) and perpendicular to the discharge surface (35). The first and second axes are apart from, and parallel to, one another. The die assembly (5) includes (iv) an extrudate passage (42) fluidly connecting the inlet (30) and the discharge port (45). A third axis of symmetry (C) extends through the extrudate passage (42). The die assembly (5) includes (v) a nozzle (100) mounted in the die plate (10), the nozzle (100) having an injection tip (110) in the extrudate passage (42) at the discharge port (45); and (vi) the third axis of symmetry (C) intersects the first axis of symmetry (A) to form an acute angle.

    Abstract: A composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene TEMPO compound having the Structure (I) and (D) a peroxide. The molar ratio of isocyanate groups of Component (B) to the functional groups of Component (C) is from 0.80 to 1.10. A composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer; a second composition comprising a reaction mixture comprising (B) an isocyanate comprising at least two isocyanate groups and (C) a TEMPO compound having the Structure (I) and (D) a peroxide, wherein the molar ratio of isocyanate groups of Component (B) to the functional groups of Component (C) is from 0.80 to 1.10. In Structure I, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each independently selected from H and C1-C6 alkyl groups and X is a functional group selected from OH and NH2.

    Abstract: A process, and related composition, to form a crosslinked composition, the process comprising applying heat, and optionally radiation, to a composition that comprises at least the following components: a) elastomer, or an olefin-based polymer that has a density >0.920 g/cc, and wherein component a has a total unsaturation ≥0.20/1000 C; b) a molecule comprising at least one Si—H group; c) at least one peroxide; and d) optionally, at least one crosslinking coagent different from component b.
