摘要: An energy storage device, especially a super capacitor, useful for high temperature applications has current collector elements supporting a carbonaceous matrix modified or doped with pseudo-capacitive materials, including one or more transition metal dichalcogenides, transition metal oxides and mixtures thereof, in contact with a non-aqueous electrolyte composition whereby it is possible to exploit the faradic mechanism in addition to the electric double layer mechanism as an energy storage principle.

摘要: A detection system includes a drill bit where electro-acoustic transducers operate as a transmitter and/or receiver, are integrated; electronic circuits; a control unit associated with a data storage unit and is powered by an electrical supply system, the processing and control unit for generating driving signals sent to the electro-acoustic transducer acting as a transmitter by the analogue driving electronic circuits, for acquiring signals received from the transducer and for processing the received signals to determine discontinuity interfaces and/or anomalies in pore pressures in geological formations; wherein each of the electro-acoustic transducers is in contact with a pressurised fluid and includes: a tubular body with two end portions opposed to each other longitudinally, internally a first chamber ending with the first end portion and a second chamber on one side adjacent and in fluid communication with the first chamber and, on the other side ending with the second end portion.

摘要: A process and system for applying a liner to an inner surface of a pipeline uses an “inversion” technique to apply the liner. This involves arranging the liner into everted and non-everted portions and driving the non-everted portion through the pipeline such that it everts and is applied to the inner surface of the pipeline. At least first and second pipeline vehicles are used to drive the non-everted portion of the liner through the pipeline.

摘要: An electro-acoustic transducer includes a tubular body extending a longitudinal direction and having two end portions, opposing each other longitudinally, and internally having a first chamber, sending with the first end portion and a second chamber, on one side adjacent to and in fluidic communication with the first chamber and on the other side ending with the second end portion. The first end portion is closed towards the outside by a membrane applied to the tubular body. The second end portion has openings that put it in fluidic communication to the outside of the tubular body. The first chamber containing electrical windings arranged in succession to each other in the longitudinal direction. The second chamber is filled with a liquid. A movable element is housed in the first chamber and has a permanent magnets packaged and arranged one above the other, with the magnetization alternating and separated.

摘要: A vibration measurement system and relative method to monitor multiphase flows in extraction wells or conduits, by analysis of backscattered multimode fiber light comprising: • a sensing multimode optical fiber; • an optical source, containing a high coherence laser that emits optical pulses to be sent in said sensing fiber; • a photonic lantern with 3 or more single-mode optical fiber ports and one multimode fiber port that is connected to the sensing multimode fiber; • an optical receiver, comprising a number of photodetectors equal to the number of the single-mode optical fiber ports of said photonic lantern minus 1, wherein each photodetector is connected to each of said single-mode ports; • a system for processing output signals from the optical receiver, the optical source being connected to one of the single-mode optical fiber ports and the other single-mode fibers being connected to the optical receiver. A process is also described for reconfiguring an optical reflectometry system already installed at a facility to be monitored.

摘要: A method for revealing anomalous discontinuity interfaces in pore pressures in non-drilled geological formations and an implementing system. The method includes generating, by an electroacoustic transducer, first pressure sound waves and receiving a reflected signal of such first pressure sound waves generated by at least one discontinuity interface due to passage from first to second different geological formations situated successively along an emission direction of the electroacoustic transducer; calculating speed of the first pressure sound waves generated and distance between the electroacoustic transducer and the at least one discontinuity interface; generating, by the electroacoustic transducer, second pressure sound waves and revealing the electrical impedance induced at terminals of the electroacoustic transducer; estimating, based on the electrical impedance revealed, plural parameters characteristic of the first and second geological formation; estimating pressure of the second geological formation based on the sound speed and distance calculated and the plural characteristic parameters estimated.
