摘要: A client station (STA), when operating in a wireless network, receives data sent by an access point (AP) on a first channel comprising at least one subchannel. During reception of the data on the first channel, the STA monitors channel availability of an additional set of one or more subchannels. In response to a detected availability of at least one newly-available subchannel, the STA sends at least one notification to the AP identifying STA-side availability of the newly-available subchannel(s). The STA subsequently receives data from the AP on the newly-available subchannel(s), which is sent in response to the at least one notification. The AP, when communicating data to the STA, receives the at least one notification from the STA and, in response thereto, initiates data transmission on one or more of the newly-available channel(s).

摘要: Certain embodiments herein relate to scheduling interference between wireless devices in a manner that reduced interference associated with full duplex communication. Signal strength and interference information associated with communication between wireless devices may be collected and forwarded to a processing device, such as a central controller. The central controller may utilize such information to generate a conflict graph that depicts interference relationships between the wireless devices. Using the conflict graph, the central controller may determine whether requested communications may be scheduled along with concurrently scheduled communications without resulting in interference affecting the communications. In one embodiment, a requested communication may be scheduled with other concurrently scheduled communications if the aggregated throughput is increased with the addition of the requested communication.

摘要: An array of antenna elements is energized as a plurality of concentric rings of the antenna elements, each of the concentric rings energized with a respective signal from a first transceiver, the signal having a continuously varying progressive phase between the antenna elements to generate n respective electromagnetic orbital angular momentum (OAM) beams each having a respective OAM mode m where m ranges from 0 to ±n. The beams are contemporaneously generated orthogonal to each other. The circumferential phase profile of the signal for a concentric ring of α antenna elements is 2πm radians, and the progressive phase difference between each of the α antenna elements is 2πm/α radians. The first transceiver transmits the beams to a second transceiver which demodulates them and sends demodulation quality information to the first transceiver for determination of whether to transmit the beams in full multiplexing, full diversity or partial diversity.

摘要: A technology for a user equipment (UE) is disclosed that is operable in an anchor-booster architecture of a multiple radio access technology (multi-RAT) heterogeneous network (HetNet). Control information to an anchor cell can be transmitted from a wireless wide area network (WWAN) node in the multi-RAT UE. Data packets of the multi-RAT UE can be selected for transmission via one of the WWAN node and a wireless local area network (WLAN) node in the multi-RAT UE using a multi-RAT coordination function (MRCF) module. Each data packet from one of the WWAN node and the WLAN cell can be transmitted to a multi-RAT small cell evolved node B (SC-eNode B) based on the selection by the MRCF module.
