摘要: A magnetic disk device includes a magnetic disk and a magnetic head having a magnetic head slider flying by an action of air during rotation of the magnetic disk, wherein an inflow of air from a direction of a leading side face of the magnetic head slider forming an air bearing film effect at an air bearing surface face of the magnetic head slider which faces the magnetic disk, and the air flows out from a trailing side face of the magnetic head slider. The magnetic head slider has a wettability, in at least a part of an outer region defined on the trailing side face and adjoining other faces including the air bearing surface face of the magnetic head slider, which is lower than a wettability of at least one other region present at the trailing side face.

摘要: In a magnetic disk device including a magnetic disk coated with a lubricant, a face of a magnetic head slider, at a trailing side of the slider, is constructed so that all or part of an outer region adjoining other faces is made less wettable than other regions present at the trailing side face. For example, the trailing side face 13 of the magnetic head slider 8 has a protrusion 12 at both upper and lower ends of the face 13. Surface wettability of a face 12a forming the top of one of the protrusions 12 is reduced below surface wettability of other regions (a face 12c orthogonal to the face 12a, and a region 11). In addition, the other regions each have surface wettability that allows any sticking droplets of the lubricant to provide a sufficient wetting spread, but to such an extent that the droplets do not fall. This prevents a wetting spread of the lubricant to an air bearing surface, and hence, a fall of the lubricant from the magnetic head slider. Reliability is therefore enhanced.

摘要: An air-conditioner of a heat pump type includes a refrigeration cycle including an interior heat exchanger, an exterior heat exchanger, a compressor, a four-way valve, and an expansion mechanism, and a non-azeotrope refrigerant composed of not less than two kinds of refrigerants is used as a working medium. A refrigerant path in each of the interior and exterior heat exchangers is divided into a group of first refrigerant passages located at a region where a proportion of the liquid-phase refrigerant is large and a group of second refrigerant passages located at a region where a proportion of the liquid-phase refrigerant is small. At least part of the group of first refrigerant passages of each of the interior and exterior heat exchangers is located at the windward side. Heat transfer tubes of the group of first refrigerant passages of each of the interior and exterior heat exchangers are smaller in flow-passage cross-sectional area than those of the corresponding group of second refrigerant passages.

摘要: In a heat transfer tube for a zeotropic refrigerant mixture, the inner surface of the tube in which the zeotropic refrigerant mixture flows is formed with grooves having cross portions where the grooves intersect with each other, or the inner surface of the tube is formed with a plurality of independent projections. Thus, concentration boundary layers generated in the zeotropic refrigerant mixture are stirred to reduce the thickness of the concentration boundary layers, thereby decreasing the diffusion resistance and promoting the stirring effect. Consequently, there can be provided a heat transfer tube for a zeotropic refrigerant mixture which exhibits a high heat transfer performance, and a heat exchanger of a cross-fin tube type, a refrigerator and an air conditioner which include such heat transfer tubes.
