A first computer system including a first computer and a first display device is provided. The first computer includes a processor. The first display device is connected to the first computer and displays a graphics signal. The processor receives at least one of system state information and power state information from a second computer system including a second computer and a second display device, and generates a first power saving control command on the basis of the received state information. The processor transmits the first power saving control command to the second computer system. The first power saving control command is a command for controlling power saving of at least one of the second computer and the second display device.

Provided herein is a platform application service of a virtual desktop using virtualization technology, and more particularly, a virtual desktop providing method and virtual desktop providing server that support a lightweight protocol technology so that a virtual desktop service may be used smoothly even where a network environment is poor when providing a virtual desktop service, the virtual desktop providing method including collecting state information of a client terminal being received from the client terminal and state information of the virtual desktop providing server; determining an environment factor for a virtual desktop of the client terminal based on the state information of the client terminal and the state information of the virtual desktop providing server; and applying the environment factor and controlling the virtual desktop being serviced to the client terminal.

A virtual workspace providing server for generating a virtual workspace to be provided to a user through a user terminal in an online software service system includes a virtual workspace portal configured to output a software list including a plurality of pieces of software to be provided through a cloud-based service and generate a virtual workspace constituted of software selected by the user, a software list and statistical information manager configured to collect and manage statistical information including at least one of user evaluation information and information about the number of users selecting the software for each of the plurality of pieces of software, a software lifecycle manager configured to collect pattern information in which the software configured in the virtual workspace is used in the user terminal, and a charging manager configured to charge a use fee for the software used by the user using the pattern information.

An apparatus and method for providing an adaptive virtual desktop operating system (OS) service is provided. The method for providing an adaptive virtual desktop OS service in a virtual OS service platform server, which provides a virtual OS service platform service suitable for a terminal connected through a network, includes collecting and analyzing environmental information including at least one among hardware specification information, computing resource information, and network traffic information of the terminal, computing resource information of a guest OS operated in a virtual machine generated by the virtual OS service platform server; determining an environmental setting factor for structuring a user interface (UI) suitable for the terminal with respect to the virtual machine based on the analyzed result; and adaptively generating or changing a UI of the virtual OS service platform provided to the terminal based on the determined environmental setting factor.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for measuring power using a sensing tag are provided. The power measuring apparatus includes a power sensing tag and a power measurement control system. The power sensing tag is installed in a line along which power is supplied to a load of a target device, and measures power consumed by the load. The power measurement control system receives power information measured by the power sensing tag from the power sensing tag, and determines power consumed by the load by using the measured power information.
