Abstract:
The present invention provides a MMT transport packet structure and a method and an apparatus configuring the structure. A method of configuring an MPEG Media Transport (MMT) transport packet for transmitting an MMT payload format, the method comprising: configuring the MMT transport packet so that the MMT transport packet includes at least one MMT payload format unit and a sequence number field for a packet stream, wherein the sequence number field maintains consistency with a sequence number field included in the MMT payload format.
Abstract:
Provided is a method and system for generating a network bandwidth adaptive content, the method including: measuring bandwidth information of a transmission channel formed between a content server and a reception terminal; generating a target content by converting a source content to be transmitted to the reception terminal, at a transmission bitrate that is determined based on the bandwidth information; transmitting the generated target content to the reception terminal; and storing information on the target content in a dynamic adaptive streaming over hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) (DASH) media presentation description (MPD) file.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting an MMT packet in an MMT (MPEG Media Transport) system includes: generating an MMT asset by performing encapsulation based on a Media Processing Unit (MPU) generated based on a media Access Unit (AU); generating MMT Composition Information on the MMT asset; generating an MMT packet by packetizing the MMT asset and the MMT-CI; and transmitting the generated MMT packet to a receiving side, wherein the MMT-CI may contain dependency information of the MMT asset on at least one other MMT asset. Accordingly, it is possible to indicate whether an MMT packet depends on other MMT assets when transmitting and receiving multi-layered media data, and to support proper decoding of the MMT asset when providing hybrid delivery-based MMT service.
Abstract:
The present invention generates a media processing unit (MPU) from the component units of media fragment units in configuring a media processing unit, thus achieving the effects of packaging media data corresponding to various media data structures.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus and method of segmenting an object. An object segmentation method according to the present disclosure includes: receiving an input image; receiving a user input indicating at least one piece of information on a foreground region and a background region included in the input image; generating at least one among a foreground pixel list and a background pixel list using the received user input; calculating Gaussian distribution of at least one pixel that makes up the input image using at least one among the generated foreground pixel list and background pixel list; and determining whether the at least one pixel is a foreground pixel or a background pixel using the calculated Gaussian distribution.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of content are provided. The metadata may include a minBufferTime attribute indicating a minimum amount of initially buffered media content. A terminal may receive content from a server before playback of the content, and may buffer the content by at least the minimum amount. The metadata may include a range attribute that designates a range of a target indicated by a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). The terminal may receive bytes designated by the range attribute from the URL, and may play back the content using the received bytes.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of content are provided. The metadata of the content may be efficiently divided for a purpose of use of a terminal based on general media information or specific media information, and may be transmitted to the terminal. A group may include one or more representations of content. The metadata may include a group element, and the group element may provide a summary of attributes of one or more representations included in the group.
