Abstract:
A method of a transmitting node may comprise: exchanging, with a receiving node, configuration information for beam direction search; generating DoA measurement request frames based on the configuration information; transmitting the DoA measurement request frames to the receiving node through a coarse beam in a partitioned area selected among partitioned areas within a bean search range, in a transmission occasion of the DoA measurement request frames based on the configuration information; receiving a DoA measurement response message from the receiving node; identifying whether the receiving node is located within the selected partitioned area based on DoA information included in the DoA measurement response message; and in response to the receiving node being located within the selected partitioned area, changing a beam direction for beam alignment based on the DoA information.
Abstract:
A signal transmitting method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes channel-coding broadcasting channel information by using a first scrambling code in a first frame within a broadcasting channel information updating period including a plurality of frames, and channel-coding the broadcasting channel information by using a second scrambling code in a second frame within the broadcasting channel information updating period. The second scrambling code is different from the first scrambling code.
Abstract:
A terminal and method for recognizing a communication target within a visible range. The method of a terminal to recognize a communication target includes obtaining location information of a communication target whose identification information is unknown within a visible range of a terminal user; and recognizing a relative location of the communication target with respect to the terminal based on the obtained location information and displaying the recognized relative location of the communication target.
Abstract:
An apparatus for spatial filtering receives a signal transmitted from a first terminal and detects a synchronization start point in time from a transmission frame included in the signal. The apparatus for spatial filtering demodulates a user-defined sequence included in the transmission frame and the at least one SRJBF sequence when the synchronization start point in time is detected, and then estimates a relative angle based on the demodulated user-defined sequence and SRJBF sequence.
Abstract:
When a plurality of terminals share the same resources in a wireless communication system, and when control information such as acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NAK) information or scheduling information is transmitted, a method of efficiently performing code division multiplexing (CDM) is required to distinguish the plurality of terminals. In particular, it is necessary to develop a method by which a code sequence of CDM can be selected and used according to each cell condition. Provided is a method of forming a signal in a wireless communication system in which a plurality of terminals commonly share frequency and time resources. The method includes the operations of receiving condition information in a cell; selecting one of a plurality of time domain orthogonal sequences having different lengths, according to the condition information; and allocating the selected time domain orthogonal sequence to a control signal symbol block.
Abstract:
When a terminal generates an uplink signal in a communication system, the terminal hops a sequence for differentiating itself from another terminal with time. The terminal generates the uplink signal by multiplying a transmission symbol by a sequence of a transmission time corresponding to the transmission symbol.
Abstract:
A proximity communication method and apparatus using a link adaptation. A transmitter establishes a link that is configured using a channel aggregation by performing an association with a receiver, and performs a link adaptation that changes the channel aggregation with respect to the link in response to transmitting data to the receiver using the link.

Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for allocating a sequence to a synchronization channel for a node identification (ID), the apparatus including: a base node sequence generator to generate a base sequence that is a sequence for a node ID of a base node; a relay node sequence generator to generate a relay sequence that is a sequence for a node ID of a relay node by transforming the base sequence; a baseband signal generator to generate a baseband signal by mapping the base sequence or the relay sequence to a frequency domain and a time domain; and a transmitter to transmit the baseband signal.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for a mobile communication terminal to recognize a target mobile communication terminal using a location recognition system. The method includes acquiring own location information of the mobile communication terminal; creating identification verification information using the location information, the identification verification information containing an identification formula for identifying the target mobile communication terminal as a target of communication; transmitting the created identification verification information to at least one other mobile communication terminal within a communication coverage area; receiving an identification response packet from the at least one other mobile communication terminal which has received the identification verification information, the identification response packet indicating whether the other mobile communication terminal is a target mobile communication terminal; and determining the target mobile communication terminal based on the received identification response packet.
