    摘要: A modular solar racking system comprises a plurality of modular solar rack supports that interconnect to provide a portable, non-invasive solar electrical generation system. One embodiment comprises a plastic modular solar rack support having a base portion, a ballast holding portion, a strut and a wedge portion. Supports are interconnected by fitting within grooves in the strut. Uni-strut frames are attached to the supports and solar panels are mounted thereon. In another embodiment, the supports comprise a base portion, a ballast holding portion, a forward lifting portion, a rearward lifting portion and a strut. Again, supports are interconnected by fitting within grooves disposed in the strut. The supports are stackable and are installed on-site using a torque wrench. Ballast may be used to hold the supports down. In one embodiment, a membrane is applied to the bottom surface which is used to adhere the support to a surface.

    摘要: A solar panel mounting system has a plurality of mounting bases which have upper and lower mounting surfaces. In the minimum configuration, four mounting bases are used. A solar panel module is connected to the top portion of two bases and to the bottom portion so that the solar panel module is mounted at a selected angle. Each of the bases has attachment points which hold insert nuts and allows mounting brackets to be secured along the mounting surfaces. The mounting brackets allow the solar panel modules to be clamped utilizing their frames without additional hardware and to be attached from the top without access to the bottom of the panels. The brackets can be industry standard or specific to the system. The bases stack and nest for easy transport. The mounting bases may be secured to a selected surface using ballasts, mechanical attachments or a combination thereof.

    摘要: A solar panel mounting system has a plurality of mounting bases which have upper and lower mounting surfaces. In the minimum configuration, four mounting bases are used. A solar panel module is connected to the top portion of two bases and to the bottom portion so that the solar panel module is mounted at a selected angle.     摘要: A hardware-based acceleration platform for computational electromagnetic algorithms, specifically the finite-difference time-domain (“FDTD”) method, comprises reformulating the FDTD algorithm in order to make it more hardware friendly. This reformulation makes use of split fields at every node in the mesh, and combines total- and scattered-field formulations into a single, hybrid formulation. By precomputing coefficients for the nodes in the mesh, it is possible for a single set of equations to support plane waves, point sources, PML ABCs, and PEC walls. In the method sources are determined by means of a lookup table, rather than through direct hardware computations. All of these modifications enable the hardware designer to much more easily develop an FDTD accelerator.

    摘要: In combination, an elongated tool having a striking end and a tapered insertion end and a drift pin cap. The drift pin cap includes a cap body having an upper end, a lower end and at least one side wall extending between and connecting the upper end and the lower end. A drift pin receiving cavity is formed in the lower end of the cap body which extends upwards towards the upper end within the cap body, the pin receiving cavity having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the cap body. The pin receiving cavity is operative to fit over and be retained on the striking end of the tool such that when the tool is impacted by a driving device, the drift pin cap is interposed between the tool and the driving device to prevent damage to the tool yet still permit driving of the tool.

The hardware configuration includes a forward fast Fourier transform (FFT) unit that calculates a forward fast Fourier transform (FFT) from the data, and a complex multiplication unit that receives the FFT-processed data and calculates a spatial derivative in the frequency domain from the FFT-processed data. The hardware configuration further includes an inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) unit that converts the spatial derivative in the frequency domain from the complex multiplication unit into the time domain, and a computation engine that solves a PSTD equation based upon the spatial derivative in the time domain received from the IFFT unit.
