    Abstract: A container includes a container main body including a housing part and an opening, and a lid configured to close the opening and including an insertion part configured to be inserted to the opening. The outer peripheral surface of the insertion part includes first and second protrusions and first and second recesses. The inner peripheral surface of the opening includes third and fourth protrusions and third and fourth recesses. When the insertion part is temporarily inserted to the opening, the third protrusion presses the first recess in a state where the first protrusion is housed in the third recess. When the insertion part is fully inserted to the opening, the third protrusion presses the second recess and the fourth protrusion presses the first recess in a state where the first protrusion is housed in the fourth recess and the second protrusion is housed in the third recess.

    Abstract: In a nozzle plate of the present invention, a part of fuel flowing out from a fuel injection port of a fuel injection device is atomized by colliding with an interference body, is rapidly bent in a flowing direction, and collides with the fuel that is flowing straight through a nozzle hole and an orifice to make the fuel that flows straight through the nozzle hole and the orifice turbulent. The orifice includes a corner portion which is defined by an outer edge portion of the interference body and has a pointed shape without roundness at a part of an opening edge. The corner portion makes an end portion of a liquid film of the fuel passing through the orifice into a pointed shape for ease of atomization by friction with air.

    Abstract: A metal valve body having a fuel injection port includes a nozzle plate accommodation part accommodating a nozzle plate of synthetic resin and aligning a center of the nozzle plate with a central axis of the valve body. A front end surface abutting against the nozzle plate is accommodated in the nozzle plate accommodation part. A swage projection fixes the nozzle plate to the front end side on which the fuel injection port is formed. The nozzle plate is swage-fixed in the state in which a spring action part is elastically deformed on the front end side of the valve body by the swage projection, and a nozzle hole formation part is constantly pushed against the front end surface of the valve body by the elastic force of the spring action part.

    Abstract: A nozzle hole of a nozzle plate is connected to a fuel injection nozzle of a fuel injection unit through a swirl chamber and first and second fuel guide grooves opened to the swirl chamber. The swirl chamber is an oval recess provided with the nozzle orifice in its center. A first fuel guide groove is opened to one end side of a major axis of the oval recess, and a second fuel guide groove is opened to the other end side of the major axis of the oval recess. The first and second fuel guide grooves are formed such that the same amount of fuel flows to the swirl chamber. The same amount of fuel flowing from the first and second fuel guide grooves to the swirl chamber is guided to the nozzle orifice at the same time while revolving inside the swirl chamber in the same direction.

    Abstract: In a nozzle plate, a portion of fuel flowing out from a fuel injection port of the fuel injection device is atomized by impinging on an interference body. At the same time, the flow of the portion of fuel is sharply bent and impinges on fuel which straightly advances and passes through a nozzle hole and an orifice thus turning the flow of fuel into a turbulent flow. Further, both end portions of the orifice form non-rounded sharpened corner portions. Hence, a liquid film of fuel injected from the corner portions and areas in the vicinity of the corner portions of the orifice is formed into a thin sharpened and pointed state whereby an end portion of the liquid film of fuel injected from the orifice is easily atomized due to a friction between the end portion of the liquid film of fuel and air.
