    摘要: A flow regulator, preferably in a respirator/ventilator, has a conduit through which a medium conduit flow is to be regulated flows and a choker valve arranged outside the conduit, the choker valve having pressure applicators arranged exactly opposite one another between which the conduit can be brought and act on the flow cross-section of the conduit such that they leave the flow cross-section of the conduit uninfluenced in a first limit position and press the conduit completely closed in a second limit position. In order to obtain a flow regulator of this type with a choker valve that is gentle on the conduit and which can also completely compress a conduit having a comparatively large flow cross-section, the pressure applicators are fashioned such that, when the conduit is compressed, both pressure actuators actively press it together from both, opposite sides.

    摘要: An anesthetic apparatus has a control unit and a breathing circuit with a connector for fresh gas, a bellows system and an outlet valve. The anesthetic apparatus operates at least as an open system, the connector then constituting an inspiratory part of the breathing circuit and the bellows system and outlet valve constituting an expiratory part of the breathing circuit. In order to reduce the adverse impact of compressible volume in the expiratory section on the functioning of the anesthetic apparatus, the control unit regulates the bellows system during inspiration so that a counter pressure, largely corresponding to the pressure of fresh gas at the connector, is maintained in the expiratory section of the breathing circuit.

    摘要: A breathing gas system, primarily intended for use during anaesthetization of patients, has a respiratory circuit, a drive gas apparatus and a pressure-transmitting bellows device, connected by a first space to the respiratory circuit and by a second space to the drive gas apparatus. When an outlet valve is regulated at the end of an expiratory phase to minimize the pressure difference between the first space and the second space, the respiratory circuit responds immediately at the next inspiratory phase when drive gas is sent to the second space. Minimizing the pressure difference also makes possible use of the pressure-regulated operating mode with the breathing gas system, and a rapid response to attempts at spontaneous breathing by the patient is achieved.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a gas regulating device (2A-E) for use in calibration of a gas analyzer (4). The gas regulating device comprises an inlet (8A) and an outlet (8B), a valve arrangement comprising at least one valve (11; 11A, 11B), and valve regulating means for regulating the at least one valve. The gas regulating device is intended to be connected between a calibration gas supply (3) and a gas analyzer (4) that is to be calibrated and the valve regulating means is configured to regulate the at least one valve such that gas is allowed to flow through a gas flow path (5B) between the inlet and outlet only when a gas pressure (P1) in the gas flow path, between the at least one valve and the outlet, falls below a predetermined threshold value. The gas regulating device is advantageously used when calibrating side-stream gas analyzers in which case it reduces calibration gas consumption, prevents discharge of calibration gas into the ambient environment and prevents leakages jeopardizing correct calibration.

    摘要: An anaesthetic machine has a gas flow system with a variable-volume gas container for breathing gas, a fresh gas system for supplying the fresh gas system with a flow of fresh gas and a control unit. The control unit controls the variable-volume gas container during a first phase of inspiration so that a flow of breathing gas is released and mixes with a flow of fresh gas from the fresh gas system. The control unit starts a second phase of inspiration if the flow of breathing gas from the variable-volume gas container ceases before inspiration has been completed. The control unit controls the anaesthetic machine during said second phase so that inspiration is maintained with a flow of fresh gas from the fresh gas system in order to achieve a system in which all breathing modes can be accommodated and gas consumption is minimized.
