摘要: A cable stranding apparatus is described as having a plurality of stranding rotor units that are interchangeably coupled, in a locked manner, to a single rotor drive assembly of such apparatus. Each stranding rotor unit is designed to accommodate the dimensions of particular cable elements to be stranded. For this purpose, the stranding rotor unit for cable elements of a large cross-section has a plurality of large collets for accommodating the drawing of such large cable elements through the unit; while the cable stranding rotor unit for cable elements of a small cross-section has a plurality of smaller collets for drawing the smaller cable elements through such unit.

摘要: A device (24) is provided for the electromagnetic braking and clutching of at least one storage spool (7). Each storage spool is located on a hollow shaft (5) and can rotate around its longitudinal axis (25). Each storage spool permits strand-shaped materials to be drawn therefrom and strand-shaped materials to be wound thereon when the storage spool (7) is driveably connected to the hollow shaft (5). The electromagnetic braking and clutching device includes a star-shaped support unit (31) that is securely affixed to the hollow shaft (5) and has a number of radially extending holding devices (37) distributed around its periphery. The support unit (31) holds at least one electrically excitable magnet coil (45) radially by using of a holding device (37), at a distance from the hollow shaft (5). The device is particularly suited for braking and clutching storage spools (7) with large outside diameters, which are located on a hollow shaft (5).

摘要: In a process for the continuous production of helical or annular corrugated, thin-walled, in particular longitudinally welded metal tubes, in which a freely rotating roller ring in a turntable corrugation head, which is eccentric with respect to the smooth metal tube, rolls against the smooth surface of the metal tube to produce the corrugation, and the metal tube is transported by a traction device that grips the smooth and/or corrugated metal tube, the force acting on the roller ring is constantly measured, and the rotation speed of the head is controlled as a function of the measured force.

摘要: In a process for the continuous production of longitudinally seam-welded and corrugated metal tubes (46), a metal band drawn off from a supply reel is formed into an open-seam tube, welded at its longitudinal edges, and the welded smooth tube (45) corrugated. A withdrawal apparatus driven by an electric motor engages the smooth tube. The smooth tube (45) is corrugated by means of a corrugation plate (43) located in a corrugation head (42) which can be driven rotationally. The corrugation head (42) is driven directly by a hollow shaft motor (37, 38).

摘要: A device (1) is used for twisting rope-shaped material (15), particularly of a larger cross section, with changing twist direction (SZ), consisting of a rotor (4) that changes direction and/or RPM, with two opposing chain drives (7) for the material (15), which are parallel to the rotor axis along an endless path. The material is gripped, guided and subsequently released by collet chucks along a prescribed pathway determined by a pressure rail (16). The collet chucks (14) are additionally attached to the chain drives (7) outside of the pathway, and are force-guided along the endless path.

摘要: A device for attaching protective insulation to the end of an electric wire, having at least one lead to which a contact element has been attached, includes a carrier (1), equipped with at least three injection dies (3), which can rotate around an axis (A), and of at least one injection molding device (2, 10), located in the circumferential area of the carrier (1). A guide path, extending circumferentially around the carrier (1), is attached to a fixed part of the device. The guide path includes two portions of different radii, extending together nearly 360.degree., which are concentric to the axis (A) of carrier (1), and converge at one end through a transition piece in the guide path. The other ends of the guide path are located at the loading position level (I) of the injection dies (3). The movement of the injection dies (3) is guided by the guide path. The injection dies are closed in the small radius area of the guide path, and are open in the larger radius area. The carrier (1) can rotate in steps of an angle corresponding to the distance of the injection dies (3) from each other.

摘要: A method for the continuous marking of elongated material (1) which is moved in its longitudinal direction, by which ring-shaped markings which are limited in axial direction are applied to the surface of the material (1) by means of ink jets (2). The ink jets (2) emerge under pressure from two nozzles (6, 7) which are arranged parallel to each other and swing continuously on a swing shaft (5). If only one nozzle (6) is to function, the other nozzle (7) is closed by a 3/2-way valve (20). At the same time, a bypass (18) is opened through which the quantity of ink intended for the disconnected nozzle (7) is conducted away. The ink jet (2) of the still functioning nozzle (6) is then retained without change.

摘要: A process for the continuous production of longitudinally welded metal tubes where a metal strip (1) is drawn from a strip supply and gradually shaped into a slit tube in a shaping station (2). The slit tube is welded in a welding system (4) along the edges of the strip, and the welded tube (6) is extracted by an extraction device (5). The welding system (4) is a protective gas arc welding system with several electrodes supplied by separate sources (4c, 4d) of welding current. The electrodes are arranged in succession, in the direction of production. The welding system (4) has two welding devices (4a, 4b), whose electrode tips are directed at a common welding point. Only one of the welding devices (4a, 4b) is in operation at any given time, while the other welding device is in a standby position. When an electrode change becomes necessary, the arc of the welding device in the standby position is first struck by means of an auxiliary arc. The welding current intensity of the welding device presently in operation is then reduced, while the welding current intensity of the welding device in the standby position is simultaneously increased.
