    摘要: A flexible lance drive device has at least one drive motor in a first portion of a housing and a drive axle projecting across a second portion of the housing carrying a cylindrical spline drive roller. A plurality of cylindrical guide rollers on fixed axles span across the second portion of the housing aligned parallel to the spline drive roller. An endless belt wrapped around the at least one spline drive roller and guide rollers has a generally smooth outer surface and a transverse splined inner surface having splines shaped complementary to splines on the spline drive roller. A bias member supports a plurality of follower rollers each aligned vertically above one of the at least one spline drive roller and guide rollers operable to press each follower roller toward one of rollers to frictionally grip a flexible lance hose when sandwiched between the follower rollers and the endless belt.

    摘要: An intermediate chain for drawing assemblies of drawing machines provided with at least one track having a plurality of contiguous links configured to act on a product being worked in order to draw it, is interposed between the corresponding track and support means of the track and comprises a plurality of contiguous links. Each of said links comprises an idle roll equipped with a through axial hole, a join pin and a connection element provided with a plurality of through holes configured to house at least said join pin. The connection element comprises two lateral support portions positioned in correspondence to axially opposite longitudinal ends of said idle roll, and a central connection portion, interposed transversely between the two lateral support portions and joined to both in order to reciprocally connect them, keeping them at a fixed and constant reciprocal distance and in a fixed and constant reciprocal position.

    摘要: A cable bundling assembly and a method of operation is provided for bundling cables. The assembly has a vertical conveyor which is mounted to a frame for advancing cables. The conveyor is driven by a drive unit and has an entrance side and an exit side. At least one fastener is provided on the conveyor. When an end of a set of cables are releasably secured to the fastener, the cables advance upwardly on an entrance side of the conveyor and downwardly on an exit side of the conveyor as the conveyor is driven by the drive unit. An operator control configured to activate the drive unit is provided. When the operator control activates the drive unit to advance the conveyor, the cables are advanced along the vertical conveyor on a substantially vertical axis and the cables advance from the entrance side of the vertical conveyor to the exit side of the vertical conveyor.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a device for the automatic hauling of very long elongate objects. This device in particular allows very long tubular objects of relatively flexible and delicate structure such as, in particular, underwater cables, pipes or alternatively linear sonar antennas of the “streamer” type to be handled. The device chiefly comprises traction means consisting of at least two running strips with rough surfaces which are pressed on each side of the object and drag it along in a traction movement and gripping means which constantly keep the running strips pressed against the object in order to ensure good adhesion. Another subject of the invention is means for actuating the traction means and the gripping means in a coordinated manner so that the object that is to be hauled experiences continuous traction throughout the hauling operation. The device according to the invention has the advantage of being mounted on a stationary chassis and therefore of not requiring an operating area. It is thus particularly intended for vessels where the available space is restricted, such as submarines.

In this way, a V-shaped space is formed between transport belts (40a, 40b). The cable transport apparatus (1) can thus transport a thin cable (100) being in contact with the lower part of the V-shaped space and transport a thick cable (200) being in contact with the upper part thereof. Even if cables to be transported have respective successively increasing diameters, such cables can be transported using the same apparatus. Further, the cables never escape from the cable transport apparatus and can be transported without lowering the transport speed of the cables.
