Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for determining a filter for an ophthalmic lens intended for being placed in front of the eye wearer, said filter being capable of improving or maintaining the visual comfort and/or the visual performance of said wearer. According to the invention, this method includes: a) a step of determining a quantity representing a dynamic sensitivity of the eye or the two eyes of the wearer to a variation in a luminous flux; and b) a step of determining at least one optical feature of said filter as a function of the determined representative quantity.
Abstract:
A method for determining at least one optical conception parameter for a progressive ophthalmic lens intended to equip a frame of a wearer, depending on the visual behavior of the latter. The method comprises the following steps: a) collecting a plurality of behavioral measurements relating to a plurality of gaze directions and/or positions of the wearer during a visual task; b) statistically processing said plurality of behavioral measurements in order to determine a zone of use of the area of an eyeglass fitted in said frame, said zone of use being representative of a statistical spatial distribution of said plurality of behavioral measurements; and c) determining at least one optical conception parameter for said progressive ophthalmic lens depending on a spatial extent and/or position of the zone of use.

Abstract:
A method for determining an optical system of a personalized progressive lens for a given wearer including: a) providing a mean direction of gaze determined for the wearer in a reference frame tied to the head of the wearer; b) determining a target value for at least one optical design parameter as a function of the mean direction of gaze determined in a); c) calculating the optical system of the progressive lens by an optical optimization procedure on the basis of target values, wherein the target value of each optical design parameter as a function of the mean direction of gaze determined in b) is a target value.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for optical design of a pair of ophthalmic lenses for correcting spherical and cylindrical refractive errors of the eyes of a wearer, including a step of defining the need for spherical and cylindrical correction of the wearer for various viewing distances, and a step of determining the spherical and cylindrical power of the ophthalmic lenses at viewing points with various proximities, in accordance with the correction needs of the wearer. The power of at least one of the two ophthalmic lenses is determined such as to limit the deviation obtained therebetween upon adding equivalent spherical power between the viewing points with various proximities and/or varying the cylindrical power vector between the viewing points with various proximities. Also disclosed is a pair of ophthalmic lenses designed according to such a method.
