摘要: A vehicle cabin venting method includes cooling a vehicle battery charger by drawing outside air through a vehicle outside air vent door; and operating a hybrid vehicle battery system to establish and maintain flow of fresh air in a cabin of the vehicle by ensuring an open position of a blend door in the vehicle if the outside air vent door will not close. A vehicle cabin venting system is also disclosed.

摘要: Air is supplied from a passenger cabin of a vehicle to an intake passage between the passenger cabin and a battery of the vehicle. The vehicle may be an electric vehicle such as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) or a battery-only electric vehicle (BEV). A signal indicating a blockage of air flow through the battery is generated in response to a difference in temperature exceeding a predetermined magnitude. The difference in temperature is between (i) the intake passage and (ii) the passenger cabin.

摘要: A power system may perform charge balancing for a vehicle. The power system may include a battery including a plurality of modules, each module including a cell and associated resistive circuitry. The system may also include at least one controller configured to, in response to a cell achieving a threshold voltage and/or SOC, activate the associated resistive circuitry for the cell and reduce a charge current applied to the battery to prevent the cell from acquiring additional charge.

摘要: A vehicle bus system includes a controller programmed to, after issuing a command to close first and second contactors, wherein the first and second contactors are arranged to share a first terminal of a battery, the first contactor is configured to power a first load when closed, and the second contactor is configured to power a second load when closed, initiate pre-charge of a second terminal of the battery in response to respective first and second voltages across the first and second contactors exceeding corresponding first and second closed-state voltage thresholds, and generate a notification and preclude initiation of the pre-charge in response to one of the first and second voltages being less than the corresponding first and second closed-state voltage thresholds.
