摘要: The invention relates to a tank venting system for a fuel tank (12) of a vehicle, having a vent line (14) for discharge of gaseous hydrocarbons from the fuel tank (12) during refueling thereof. Gaseous hydrocarbons originating from the fuel tank (12) can be introduced in a filler pipe (20) of the fuel tank (12) via a recirculation line (24). A control device (34) controls a proportional valve (32) and changes in this way a pass-through cross section of the recirculation line (24). In this way, a load of an activated charcoal filter (16) which is coupled with the vent line (14) can be minimized. The control device (34) can especially determine a pressure in the fuel tank (12). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method of venting a fuel tank (12) during refueling thereof.

摘要: A universally usable electronic manual stamping device has an inkjet print head that can be moved back and forth in a print window, the print window being arranged in a base plate facing toward a print medium during the printing. A control unit of the device is connected with a user interface, with an external interface and with an internal interface. The inkjet print head is operationally connected via the internal interface with an actuator to move the inkjet print head and with an internal power source to supply the control unit, the inkjet print head and its actuator, as well as the interfaces. The control unit includes a security processor that possesses at least one transaction module which is provided to implement cryptographic security and certification tasks in connection with the printing of an individually secured stamp imprint. The control unit is programmed to control the printing and a base station onto which the manual stamping device is fashioned to be placed for its maintenance and downloading with data.

摘要: An arrangement for installing a communication unit in an apparatus having a security housing, such as a mail processing apparatus, including a cavity bay located at a non-secure region of the apparatus that is accessible by a cover that is non-destructibly detachable from the security housing. The bay receives a pluggable communication unit that has a connection element connectible by a plug-in movement with a connection element of a motherboard located in the secure region of the apparatus: The cavity has at least one further connection element that is electrically conductively and mechanically connected with a metal chassis part of the apparatus in the security housing. This further connection element protrudes into the cavity and establishes contact with the communication unit for grounding thereof.

摘要: Additional circuitry is included in an input cell design structure for an integrated circuit to detect and report transitions on an input that was expected to be stable, and to store that event for later analysis. Two or more modified input cells may have their error indications daisy-chained together to minimize additional routing. The storage elements may be included in a scan chain to allow for isolation of which input had the unexpected transition.
