摘要： An underwinding thread clamp for a spindle of a ring spinning or ring-twisting machine has a clamping sleeve biased by a spring against and juxtaposed with a collar on the spindle. The juxtaposed surfaces of the spindle and collar have wavy contours so that, upon engagement of an actuating member with each collar, the latter is cammed into its open position to release the respective underwinding thread so that the latter, engaged when a full bobbin was removed, can be released. The clamping of the underwinding thread permits the thread to be wound on the newly mounted core sleeve.

摘要： A drive system has a fixed support, a textile spindle having a whorl and rotatable adjacent the support about a spindle axis, a continuously advancing drive belt tangentially engaging the whorl, and an elongated leaf spring extending generally parallel to the belt and having a portion fixed to the support and an outer end carrying a roller bearing toward the whorl on the belt. The spring is tensioned to press the roller against the belt and the belt against the whorl. A dimensionally stable plate extends generally parallel to the leaf spring, spaced along at least most of its length from the leaf spring. A layer of energy-absorbing material is provided between and bonded to the plate and spring along all of a region extending from the support to the roller so that as the spring and plate bend the layer is subjected to shear.

摘要： Along a row of spindles of a ring-spinning machine, an underwind-residue remover is displaceable by a belt whose belt stretches are horizontal and lie one above the other over the length of the machine. The underwined-residue remover has a shank guided along a rib at a track for the remover alongside a row of spindles and the track has a foot extending horizontally from the rib and overlain by the stretches of the belt. The stretches of the belt have loops connecting them at opposite ends and a roller arrangement about which the respective loop passes.
