摘要： A communication system of the present invention includes a mobile phone 100 and an access point. The mobile phone 100 comprises an input receiving unit 110 operable to receive a predetermined emergency phone number, and a control unit 160 operable to, if the input receiving unit 110 receives the predetermined emergency number, select one of access points which can be recognized by signals obtained by a wireless communicating unit 150 from the access points around the mobile phone 100, and cause the wireless communicating unit 150 to transmit an emergency connection request including a call destination phone number to the selected access point. The access point comprises a wireless communicating unit 220 operable to receive the emergency connection request from the mobile phone 100, and a control unit 240 operable to, if the wireless communicating unit 220 receives the emergency connection request, connect the mobile phone 100 to an IP network via an IP network communicating unit 230, without performing authentication of the mobile phone 100.

摘要： A pattern memory stores plural accompaniment patterns for each of plural accompaniment components. Each of the accompaniment components is composed of one or more musical instrument parts for an accompaniment performance. There are provided operating members which are used for selectively designating a desired component and a touch sensor for detecting an operation touch applied to the operated operating member. Any of the plural accompaniment patterns corresponding to the designated component is selected in accordance with the detected operation touch, and the selected accompaniment pattern is read out from the memory. The entire accompaniment performance pattern is provided by a combination of the accompaniment patterns thus selected for the respective components. In order to allow the selected pattern to be changed freely, modifiers representing how to make the change may be utilized by the user. In such a case, the accompaniment pattern is changed in accordance with a predetermined algorithm that corresponds to the modifier selected by the user.

摘要： A portable communication terminal having a remote control apparatus includes a CPU. The CPU detects electronic appliances around there by a wireless tag reader, displays characters respectively corresponding to the detected appliances on a monitor, transmits test signals to these appliances, and changes a manner of the character of the appliance except for the appliance which responds, that is, in an off-state. Furthermore, the CPU detects identification information of a base station which is able to communicate with the terminal, registers the identification information detected under a desired location condition in the register, and determines whether or not a match condition is satisfied between detected identification information and the identification information which has been registered. Then, if the determination result is affirmative, the electronic appliance around there is detected by the wireless tag reader, and an operation screen for remotely controlling the detected appliance on a monitor is displayed.

摘要： The present invention aims to provide a memory rewriting apparatus which can rewrite data stored in a memory of a portable terminal without stopping in the middle. According to the model of the portable terminal and the version number of data stored in each memory area of the memory, a memory area which requires rewriting is to be specified. An amount of remaining battery charge is compared to an estimated battery consumption for rewriting piece of data requiring the rewriting. In a case where the amount of remaining battery charge is sufficient, the memory rewriting apparatus transmits data to the portable terminal and specifies the memory area for the portable terminal.

Thus, by changing the values of the parameters to be supplied as necessary, accompaniment patterns can be created in an unconstrained manner. By time-varying at least one of the parameters, an optional accompaniment pattern can be created in such a manner that a desired accompaniment tone is sounded at a desired time point, and an accompaniment pattern can be changed freely. A performance state of an performance operator such as a keyboard may be detected, so as to change the parameters on the basis of performance states detected at least for a current time and a given past time. This permits parameter control reflecting a changing real-time performance state. Alternatively, a parameter may be prepared in accordance with input performance information so that an accompaniment pattern is created on the basis of the prepared parameter. At least one of the parameters may be modulated in real time via a relatively simple operator such as a modulation wheel.
