Abstract: A latching assembly includes a hinge defining a slot, the slot having a slot length and a slot width, wherein the slot length is greater than the slot width, and a latching actuator having a housing and a plunger partially disposed in the housing, the plunger configured to translate and rotate relative to the housing, the plunger having a distal end with a plunger end length and a plunger end width, wherein the plunger end length is greater than the plunger end width, the plunger configured to be inserted into the slot. The plunger end length is greater than the slot width and the plunger end length is less than the slot length by a clearance amount.

Abstract: A lockable latching device includes a body defining a cavity and a plunger disposed within a cavity defined in the body. The plunger is translatable with respect to the body between an open position and a closed position. The lockable latching device also includes an annular rotator configured for rotating the plunger about a central longitudinal axis, and an annular latch transitionable between an unlocked state and a locked state. The lockable latching device further includes first and second elements. The lockable latching device also includes a force transmission mechanism operably connected to the first element, the second element, and the annular latch, with the force transmission mechanism configured to transition the annular latch from the unlocked state to the locked state in response to a first activation signal, and to transition the annular latch from the locked state to the unlocked state in response to a second activation signal.

Abstract: An anti-icing coating having a continuous phase and a discrete phase. The continuous phase includes a fluorine-containing polymer formed from a fluorine-containing precursor having a functionality of greater than 2. The discrete phase includes a plurality of domains having a fluorine-free hygroscopic and/or hydrophilic material. The plurality of domains are dispersed within the continuous phase and are immersible with the continuous phase. At least a portion of the fluorine-free material is bonded to the fluorine-containing polymer with an isocyanate-containing moiety. The fluorine-containing polymer is crosslinked with a crosslinking molecule having at least 4 functional groups. The fluorine-free material is a poly(ethylene glycol).

The first side of the charge port body defines a channel. The module also includes a cartridge configured to slidingly engage the channel. The cartridge includes a cartridge body defining an access opening configured to facilitate charging plug access to the receptacle after the cartridge has engaged and has seated in the channel. A light element is arranged on the cartridge body and configured to illuminate the receptacle.

Abstract: A port-door release assembly includes a door and a linkage coupled to the door to support the door during movement between open and closed positions. The port-door release assembly includes a drive shaft coupled to the linkage to drive movement of the linkage. The port-door release assembly includes a motor configured to rotate the drive shaft which moves the linkage and the door to the open and/or closed positions. The port-door release assembly includes a back-up release assembly movable relative to the linkage to disconnect the drive shaft from the linkage which allows the door to move to the open position without actuation of the motor. A door assembly includes the port-door release assembly as described above and a housing defining a port in which the door is movable relative to the housing between the open position that uncovers the port and the closed position that covers the port.
