    Abstract: A method to assemble and orchestrate elemental value components to accomplish a meaningful higher value. The method including the steps of detecting, by a first sensor, a first vehicle operating parameter, generating, by the first sensor, a first sensor output indicative of the first vehicle operating parameter, populating, by a data pump, a first data repository entry indicative of the first sensor and the first vehicle operating parameter. The method is further operative for generating, by a first processor, a first micro-value output in response to the first data repository entry and a first micro-value algorithm associated with the first sensor, generating, by a concurrent second processor, a first vehicle control signal in response to the first data repository entry, the first micro-value output and a first decision repository table entry associated with the first micro-value output, and controlling, by a vehicle controller, a vehicle in response to the first vehicle control signal.

    Abstract: Presented are intelligent vehicle control systems enabling external control of vehicles using visible or audible cues, methods for making/using such vehicle control systems, and motor vehicles equipped with such control systems. A method of controlling operation of a vehicle includes a vehicle controller receiving a trigger signal indicating the vehicle is in an automatic control trigger state and, responsive to receiving the trigger signal, activating an automatic control mode that enables an entity outside the vehicle to control the vehicle using visible and/or audible cues. The vehicle controller determines if an on-vehicle network of sensing devices detects a visible/audible cue from the external entity; if so, the controller responsively determines if the detected visible/audible cue is a preset valid command. If the detected visible/audible cue is a valid command, the vehicle controller responsively commands a resident subsystem of the vehicle to automate a vehicle operation corresponding to the valid command.

The system includes a telematics unit, a drone having one or more notification actuators, and a tether that connects the drone to the system. The method further includes launching the drone with the telematics unit in response to the trigger event, waiting a predetermined time after the trigger event, retracting the drone in response to a subsequent event being undetected within the predetermined time after the trigger event, detecting the subsequent event with the one or more electronic units, placing the drone in an alert configuration in response to detecting the subsequent event within the predetermined time after the trigger event, and generating one or more alert notifications from the one or more notification actuators while the drone is in the alert configuration.

    Abstract: A system for dynamic authorization, entitlements, and conditional capabilities by operational context to authorize operating a vehicle in conjunction with a remote cloud unit is provided. The system includes a vehicle operational system providing a functional output and a computerized controller within the vehicle. The controller includes programming to collect data from a plurality of sources related to operation of the vehicle and provide the data to a plurality of operating context analyzers to generate an operating context. The controller further includes programming to receive an authorization to operate the vehicle operational system and selectively enable operation of the vehicle operational system based upon the authorization. The system further includes the plurality of operating context analyzers determining the operating context. The system further includes the remote cloud unit, including programming to selectively generate the authorization based upon the data and the operating context and release the authorization to the controller.
