摘要: A method, system and computer readable code for instrumenting code into database access modules are disclosed. According to some embodiments, specific functions within the database access module are identified as query-execution functions, and instructions for logging at least one of database access strings and database connection string during runtime are instrumented into the identified query-execution functions. Exemplary database access strings include database query strings, such as an SQL query string, and stored procedure names. Optionally, additional instructions for extracting various parameters, such as database identifiers, performance parameters, and security policy parameters, from the database connection strings are instrumented. According to some embodiments, the identifying of query-execution functions includes determining if an identity of a candidate function of a database access module matches one of the identifiers of a known execution function. According to some embodiments, a repository of known query execution functions and/or a repository of encoding schema for database connection strings is maintained, for example, using one or more configuration files.

摘要: A transaction card with improved security features, comprising: an authentication unit and a magnetic stripe wherein parts of the magnetic field pattern of said magnetic stripe are generated by currents running through coils only after the authentication unit authenticates the transaction card holder. One or more sensors detect attempts to read the card by two magnetic heads, and block the card if a cloning attempt is suspected. The transaction card is thus closed for transactions in a normal state, and the magnetic information is not readable. Only after the card holder authentication, then currents are run through the coils to generate the magnetic information and make the magnetic stripe readable by commercial devices. Authentication means may include entering a PIN via a keyboard, entering a PIN via a keypad, voice recognition identification of one or more voices, biometric identification, or identification via a connection to a remote device.

摘要: Disclosed is an interchangeable decorative article for selective placement within an eyeglass frame temple arm by forming one or more transverse apertures within one or both of the temple arms for receiving and fixing the decorative article in a selectively replaceable manner. The aperture and decorative article form a detachable mechanical bond through a flexi-pin assembly comprising opposing spring-loaded spherical bullets that reciprocate and withdraw into the decorative article during insertion into and extraction from the temple arm aperture. The spring exerts a bias urging the bullets outward but are refused egress by a retaining lip. The bullets remain in that position when in the static condition and the spherical properties of the bullets allow for retraction upon contacting the walls of the temple arm aperture as the user pushes the decorative article therein. Each bullet has a mating recess disposed in the interior walls of the temple arm aperture and upon alignment therewith, projects therein where it remains until enough force is applied to the decorative article to retract the bullets for removal.

摘要: Apparatus 10 for modular eyeglasses having a plurality of lens members 14 that can be selectively mounted to a frame member 12. The frame member 12 has the typical temples 16 and a crossbar 18 with an interdisposed bridge 20. The bridge 20 is formed of pad arms and nose pads 36 depending from a mounting having a magnetic element 22 fixed within the top mounting surface with a pair of apertures 28 spaced away from each side of the magnet. The frame 12 provides means whereby a number of lens members 14, such as reading lenses, distance lenses and sunblock lenses can be easily mounted to a single frame. A lens member 14 is comprised of a pair of lenses 34 with holes drilled in them for attachment at 32 to a flanged lens platform 30. The platform 30 has a mating magnetic element 24 with posts 26 located on each side of the magnet linearly conforming to the distance between the frame housing apertures 28. Once the magnets 22, 24 are aligned the posts 28 and apertures 28 prevent torsional forces from displacing the lens member 10, while maintaining the correct spacing between the user's eyes and lenses 34.

摘要: A method of selective clogging of failed hollow fibers of a membrane module, including a pack or bundle of fibers in a shell-side and bore-side arrangement which includes failed fibers and non-failed fibers, comprises the steps of: clogging bores of all of the fiber at one end of the pack or bundle of the fibers; substantially evacuating the membrane module both at the shell-side and at the bore-side; filling the bore-side and the shell-side with a non-permeant gas; subsequently-holding the membrane module vertically, disconnecting the bore-side of the membrane module from a supply of the non-permeant gas and dipping another end of the membrane module opposite to the clogged end into a reservoir containing a liquid sealant; applying a reduced pressure to the shell-side for a period of time sufficient to permit suction of sealant into the bores of the failed fibers through a failure of which vacuum is applied to the bore-side; allowing the sealant to solidify at least partially to clog the bores of both the failed fibers and the non-failed fibers; and cutting off a length of the bundle of the fibers such that the bores of the non-failed fibers are exposed while the bores of the failed fibers remain clogged.
