    摘要: Disclosed herein are aspects and embodiments of filtration membrane modules including porous membranes and methods and structures associated with potting ends of the porous membranes in the membrane modules. In one example, there is provided a method of forming a filtration module. The method comprises securing a portion of a porous membrane in a pre-pot, positioning at least a portion of the pre-pot in a potting mold, introducing a pot forming substance into the potting mold, the pot forming substance surrounding at least a portion of the pre-pot and at least a portion of the porous membrane, curing the second pot forming substance to form a membrane pot, and separating the membrane pot from the potting mold.

    摘要: Embodiments of the invention pertain to cartridges, systems and methods for performing hemodialysis and related extracorporeal blood treatment modalities and therapies, in which blood flows in the inter fiber space and dialysate flows in the lumens of hollow fibers. Appropriate connectors and fitting orientations may be provided. There may be provided orbital distributors, fanning of fibers, and features to promote uniformity of fiber spacing in the fiber bundle. Orbital distributors may contain contoured surfaces, flow redirectors, non-uniform-conductance flow elements, through-wall distributors, and other features. There may be subdivision of the fiber bundle into two groups of fibers with separate control fluid to each group. Appropriate systems may be provided for various therapies. Flow past the fibers may be parallel, transverse or other configuration. These various features may enable long-term application to all dialysis and ultrafiltration related therapies, and also to other therapies and to applications including implantables, portables and wearables.

The filter member possesses elasticity at least in the circumferential direction to allow the inner circumference of the filter member to be increased from a natural non-expanded state prior to placement on the hollow fiber membrane bundle to an expanded state in which the inner circumference of the filter member is increased when placed on the hollow fiber membrane bundle.     摘要: The present invention is to provide a means for easily replacing palladium alloy capillaries in a hydrogen purification device formed by using hydrogen separation membrane formed from the palladium alloy capillaries. The hydrogen purification device can be easily disassembled into a palladium alloy membrane unit and a storage structure thereof. A palladium alloy membrane unit is provided with a plurality of palladium alloy capillaries, a disk-shaped tube sheet supporting the palladium alloy capillaries, a pure hydrogen discharge pipe having a cylinder being in close contact with a periphery of the tube sheet at one end, a joint connecting with a pure hydrogen outlet of the storage structure at the other end, and preferably a joint being in close contact with an opening of a container of the storage structure at a position between the cylinder and the outlet joint. The storage structure is provided with a container storing the palladium alloy membrane unit, a heater, a raw material hydrogen inlet, an impurity-containing gas outlet, and a pure hydrogen outlet, a member provided on the pure hydrogen outlet, the member connecting with a joint provided at one end of the palladium alloy membrane unit, and preferably a member provided on the opening of the container, the member being in close contact with a joint provided on the cylinder of the palladium alloy membrane unit.
