    摘要: The invention relates to a continuous process for producing chlorine dioxide comprising the steps of continuously: a) feeding to a reactor (1) an acid, hydrogen peroxide and alkali metal chlorate; b) reacting the alkali metal chlorate with the acid and the hydrogen peroxide to form a product stream (2) containing chlorine dioxide, oxygen and alkali metal salt of the acid, c) bringing the product stream from the reactor to an eductor (3) and mixing it with motive water fed to the eductor and thereby forming a diluted product stream; d) removing oxygen from the diluted product stream; e) withdrawing part of the diluted product stream (9), before, during or after the step of removing oxygen; f) adding water (11) to the non-withdrawn part of the diluted product stream to form a recycle stream (12); and, g) bringing the recycle stream (12) to the eductor and feeding it thereto as motive water (4). The invention further relates to a production unit for the production of an aqueous solution comprising chlorine dioxide.

    摘要: Elastomeric film-like products such as natural latex gloves are coated with novel lubricity compositions and compositions which protect the skin of the wearer from certain undesirable medical conditions. In powder-free gloves, the coating composition comprises colloidal oatmeal enhanced water, beta glucan solution, and/or colloidal oatmeal gel, optionally in combination with one or more other starch components. Colloidal oatmeal enhanced water, and methods of making the colloidal oatmeal enhanced water, are also disclosed. In addition, beta glucan solution, and methods of making the beta glucan solution, are also disclosed. Furthermore, colloidal oatmeal gel, and methods of making the colloidal oatmeal gel, are also disclosed. A liquid referred to herein as Polycoat may also be made by mixing one or more of colloidal oatmeal enhanced water, beta glucan solution, and colloidal oatmeal gel, and the resulting liquid may be applied to elastomeric articles such as gloves.

    摘要: The present invention provides novel curable compositions useful in the preparation of light management films and other optical articles. The curable compositions comprise (a) 0.01 to about 1 weight percent of at least one C10-C40 aliphatic acid, (b) at least one a multifunctional (meth)acrylate having structure I; and in certain embodiments (c) at least one monofunctional (meth)acrylate. In one embodiment, the curable compositions comprise at least one silicone-containing surfactant. The curable compositions may be cured to provide the corresponding cured compositions.
