摘要: In a method and apparatus for making sausages in the form of a continuous string with subsequent separation thereof into individual sausages or into groups of interconnected sausages, means are provided for varying the separating operating in a simple manner according to the length of the sausage and the number of interconnected sausages in groups thereof desired, while still ensuring an accurated separating perfomance. In the spearating operation separator elements are mounted opposite one another on either side of the string that revolve synchronously in the conveying direction along respective opposite circular paths, their revolving speed being variable over the non-operative sector of their revolutions relative to the operative sector where their speed is compatible with the sausage conveying speed.

摘要: Method and arrangement for supplying essentially hollow bodies with equipment wherein the hollow bodies each have a transverse dimension and a longitudinal dimension being larger than the transverse dimension. The bodies have at least one opening for accessing their interior from outside along their longitudinal dimension. The hollow bodies are arranged essentially side-by-side along the longitudinal dimension and they are moved along their transverse dimension in a clocked fashion. An arrangement comprises a plurality of conveyor means for moving hollow bodies, wherein the conveyor means are arranged such that the hollow bodies are arranged side-by-side along their longitudinal dimension and moved along their transverse dimension in a clocked fashion.

摘要: In the process for separating off by flotation (pressure release) suspended matter from liquids which are present in a gas-introduction reactor, the suspension to be withdrawn for flotation is conducted at a flow velocity .ltoreq.0.3 m/s against the natural direction of bubble rise, gas being additionally introduced into the suspension. The gas-treated suspension is withdrawn at the bottom of the gas-introduction apparatus and it is fed to flotation.

摘要: The invention is in a composition and process for the chromium free passivating postrinsing of conversion layers on metals before the application of a paint or adhesive. The conversion layers can be on the bases of phosphate layers, at least two polyvalent metal ions with complex formers, titanium, zirconium and/or hafnium. The postrinsing agent is an aqueous solution which has been adjusted to a pH value of up to 5 and which contains an aluminum fluorozirconate having an Al:Zr:F mole ratio of (0.15 to 8.0):1:(5 to 52), and in which solutions the total concentration of Al+Zr+F is 0.1 to 8.0 g/l. The postrinsing solutions may additionally contain at least one of the anions benzoate, caprylate, ethyl hexoate, salicylate in a total concentration of 0.05 to 0.5 g/1 and may preferably be adjusted to the required pH value with cations of volatile bases, such as ammonium, ethanolammonium and di- and triethanolammonium. The paint is subsequently applied suitably by cathodic electrocoating or powder coating or from a low-solvent high-solids paint. The rinsing treatment is over a period of 1 to 120 seconds at temperatures of 20.degree. to 80.degree. C. The invention is used as a pretreatment to the application of a paint coating, film coating or adhesive coating.

摘要: A circular knitting machine having knitting needles actuated by pattern bars, electromagnetic selectors for adjusting the knitting needles into various operating positions, mechanical controls cooperating with the electromagnetic selectors, selector elements biased by springs and slidingly displaceable in the pattern bars as well as first and second control cams for pivoting the pattern bars. Only one single, spring-biased selector element is mounted for displacement in each pattern bar. The electromagnetic selectors have individually controllable magnetic poles which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of rotation of the needle cylinder.

摘要: For phosphating metal surfaces which consist at least in part of aluminum, by means of phosphating solutions which contain zinc, phosphate and fluoride, any titanium which has entered the phosphating solution and would disturb the formation of the layer is precipitated by an addition of SiO-containing compounds and after the precipitate has been removed, the content of free fluoride is readjusted to the required concentration. Particularly suitable compounds which contain SiO, consist of alkali metasilicate, alkali orthosilicate and/or alkali disilicate, preferably used in an amount of 0.05 to 1 g/l of the phosphating solution, or of silica, which is preferably used in an amount of 0.5 to 10 g per liter of the phosphating solution (calc. as Si).

摘要: A dough-rounding apparatus in which first and second groups of elements undergo relative revolving movements to round pieces of dough. The elements of one group have chambers for receiving the pieces of dough, the elements of the other group being formed by circular recesses in a working surface which are opposite the chambers. The working surface has a limited region immediately adjacent to and surrounding each circular recess which is of broken, irregular formation to achieve a roughening of the working surface different from the circular recess. The limited region can be circular and concentric with the associated circular recess, the limited region having a diameter between 1.6 and 2.2 times the diameter of the circular recess.
