摘要： A dehumidifying device is often used to protect measurement equipment from condensation during measurements of a flowing gas. A dehumidifying device which does not need to be replaced as a result of becoming moisture-saturated is achieved by a container filled with a hydrophilic material and connected to a moisture permeable element. When a gas flows through the device via an inlet, a flow channel and an outlet, the hydrophilic material absorbs moisture from the flowing gas. The absorbed moisture is released into ambient air via the moisture permeable element.

摘要： This invention comprises: (1) a wet grinding method for enhancing the activity of an aluminum or an aluminum/zirconium salt without the dilution and heating traditionally required wherein the enhancement is described as forming a salt wherein the amount of smaller aluminum species as represented by Peak 4+Peak 5 is increased by an amount of at least 10% over the parent salt; and, if zirconium is present, the area of Peak 1 in the parent salt is at least 10% greater than the area of Peak 1 after grinding; (2) an enhanced aluminum or aluminum/zirconium salt itself, and (3) anhydrous (less than 4% water excluding waters of hydration for the enhanced salt) antiperspirant and/or deodorant products made with the salts described in (2).

The absorbent core has two longitudinal edges, and a front and a rear transverse edge, wherein the rear transverse edge possesses a recess with at least one pair of opposing edges. The recess forms a pocket for receiving and storing faeces, wherein the pocket's extension is defined by the edges of the recess. The article provides a simple, practical and cheap solution for handling of faeces without obviously compromising the liquid absorption properties.

摘要： Starting from an elastic material web and an absorbent product web, the method includes removing a first material piece from the elastic material web to provide a second material piece with an aperture and applying the first piece to a first portion of the absorbent product web. The second piece is supplied to a second application station and a section of the second piece is stretched and applied to a second portion of the absorbent product web. In this way an absorbent product with elastic waist portions is manufactured efficiently and with a minimum of waste.

摘要： An absorbent prefastened product in the form of a disposable pants diaper is provided with a side closure arrangement on each side. The side closure includes front and rear side flaps having elastic portions where an inner surface of a rear side flap is overlapped and welded to an outer surface of a front side flap. Each side flap is also provided with one part of a releasable fastening system located such that the weld is located on at least one of the elastic portions and such that it lies inward of the releasable fastening system in the prefastened state. A method of forming the absorbent product is also provided, in which an overlapped attachment is formed by joining front and rear side flap members together and attaching the side flap members to an absorbent chassis member.

摘要： Low water emulsions are described which are useful for antiperspirants and/or deodorants wherein the emulsions are made by combining (I) 15-33% of an external phase comprising: (a) 1-25% of an organic ester having a refractive index in the range of 1.43-1.60 and capable of releasing an antiperspirant active to achieve a specified conductivity; (b) a sufficient amount of a silicone copolyol to achieve a solids content of 0.25-10%; (c) a sufficient amount of a volatile silicone to achieve a total amount of the external phase as 15-33%; (c) 0-5% of a silicone elastomer (on an actives basis); and (d) 0-15% of at least one emollient; and (II) 67-85% of an internal phase comprising: (a) an effective amount of at least one cosmetically active ingredient; (b) a sufficient amount of a solvent component to dissolve the cosmetically active ingredient with a maximum amount being about 80%; (c) 0.5-15 % of water optionally containing up to 30% of an ionizable salt soluble in water; (d) 0-5 % of a non-ionic emulsifier; and (e) 0-10% ethanol; wherein: (1) the final refractive index of the composition is in the range of 1.42-1.52; and (2) the conductance of the composition is at least 250 micro Siemens/cm/ml at a loading of at least 7% by weight level of antiperspirant active.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing activated, substantially monodisperse, phosphorescent particles and particles formed thereby. The method suspends substantially monodisperse, phosphor-precursor particles in a fluidizing gas and then introduces a reactive gas to contact the suspended phosphor-precursor particles. Heating the suspended phosphor-precursor particles to a reaction temperature then forms unactivated phosphorescent particles. In another embodiment, the phosphor-precursor particles may be heated to a reaction temperature where they decompose to form the unactivated phosphor particles. The unactivated phosphorescent particles suspended within the fluidizing gas are activated by heating the unactivated phosphorescent particles to an activation temperature forming activated, substantially monodisperse, phosphorescent particles.
