Abstract:
The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies that bind to the extracellular domain of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), hybridoma cell lines producing the antibodies, and methods of using such antibodies for diagnosis and treatment of cancer. In particular, thirty-five monoclonal antibodies reactive with PSMA expressed on the cell surface are exemplified. Additionally, the present invention relates to a novel protein variant (PSM′) of PSMA detected by a number of the antibodies of the invention. The hydrolase activity of PSMA and PSM′ allows the use of an immunoenzymatic assay for their detection.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a multilayered duplex material article. The method comprises providing a first layer from a non-cast material and a second layer from a cast material wherein the second layer is made from a material with a lower melting point than the first layer. In one embodiment the first layer is a wrought alloy and the second layer is cast onto the first layer.

A toe link for the suspension system of a vehicle includes means for adjusting the axial length of the toe link while preventing relative rotation of the extending ends of the toe link.
Abstract:
A ball joint, is provided in the form of a cross axis joint with a housing, a bearing shell in the housing and a ball sleeve. The ball sleeve includes a ball portion with a bearing surface cooperating with the bearing shell and a first pivot pin and a second pivot pin extending from said ball portion in an axial direction. The ball sleeve has an inner surface defining a through hole (50) for receipt of a connection bolt. The first pivot pin has a first end with a first outer surface (42) and a first annular end face (41) and the second pivot pin has a second end with a second outer surface (44) and a second annular end face (43). Sealing rings (60, 60′, 60″, 90, 95) are provided, each having a first axially extending portion extending along the first outer surface and having a sealing area outer surface defining a bellows seal seat (64, 98) and a radially extending portion extending along the end face. Each bellows seal (52, 54) is connected to the housing at one end and connected to said bellows seal seat (64, 98) at another end.
Abstract:
A ball-and-socket joint for motor vehicles provided, with a joint ball and a pivot pin, a housing part formed of a shaped metal tube having a top end with an opening and having an opposite end with a pivot pin opening through which the pivot pin protrudes and with a molded material molded on a portion of the housing, the molded on material forming functional surfaces on each of an inside and an outside of the housing part.

Abstract:
A method of dispensing medicaments may employ a drug dispensing device comprised of an upper hopper having an upper opening for receiving a medicament and a lower opening. The drug dispensing device also includes a lower hopper having an upper opening and a lower opening in a bottom portion thereof. The upper hopper defines a bulk storage chamber and the lower hopper defines a dispensing chamber. A rotatable dispensing disc is positioned in a lower portion of the dispensing chamber for dispensing medicament from the drug dispensing device through the lower opening in the lower hopper. A regulator is situated between the bulk storage chamber and the dispensing chamber for controlling the rate at which medicament moves from the storage chamber to the dispensing chamber.
Abstract:
A process for forming the ball and socket joint with bellows seal (10), a bellows seal (10) and a ball and socket joint with bellows seal (10) is provided including a ball pivot pin (36, 38) with a connection piece (40). The sealing bellows is provided with an annular engagement surface (16) with a cavity (20). The connection piece with a sealing face is connected to the ball pivot pin. Lubricant (22) is disposed in the cavity prior to assembly of the ball and socket joint. The annular engagement surface (16) is provided in contact with the sealing face upon assembly to cause an amount of lubricant (22) to be squeezed out of the cavity (20).
Abstract:
A structural mounting system for mounting of structural components includes a base section and a co-operating section each of which in use is secured to a respective structural component and which are assembled together. The base section in cross section includes an undercut and the co-operating section in cross section includes a leg, having a toe projecting laterally to engage the undercut. When the sections are being coupled together the co-operating section is rotated about its longitudinal direction relative to its final position so that lateral movement of the toe to engage beneath the undercut requires the co-operating section to rotate about the longitudinal axis relative to the base section to adopt its final position. Spaced linear restraint points and a rotation restraint point together defining a triangle of points of contact to make the assembly of sections rigid. The sections have co-operating formations which require rotation of the co-operating section relative to the base section in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation to effect engagement of the toe with the undercut during close coupling of the two sections together until the toe reaches the undercut and the co-operating section can rotate to its final position.
Abstract:
A composition is described having improved oral permeability of polar agents such as neuraminidase inhibitors. The composition includes one or more polar agents and one or more permeability enhancers such that the composition increases the amount of the polar agent capable of being transported across a Caco-2 cell membrane by at least 150% relative to the amount capable of being transported across the Caco-2 Cell membrane in the absence of the permeability enhancer. Oral dosage forms including the composition, and methods of treating or preventing influenza infection are also provided.
