摘要:
Polysubstituted cyclopentadiene compound wherein at least two different substituents are present from the group consisting of linear, branched and cyclic alkyls, aralkyls and alkenyls, and a process for the preparation of a cyclopentadiene compound substituted with at least two different groups chosen from the group consisting of linear, branched, cyclic and aromatic alkyls and alkenyls, characterized in that it comprises the reacting of a halide of a first substituting group in a mixture of the cyclopentadiene compound and an aqueous solution of a base, in which the quantity of the base relative to the cyclopentadiene compound is between 5 and 30 mol/mol, in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst, followed by the addition of a halide of a second or optionally a third substituting group to the reaction mixture.

An apparatus having an outer wall that encompasses an interior chamber that holds a predetermined volume of fluid and gas where the gas rises to one end of the interior chamber and the fluid flows to the other end of the interior chamber. The apparatus also has an inlet port that allows for fluid to ingress into the interior chamber and an outlet port that allows for fluid to egress out of the interior chamber.

The design is the visual features of the AIR REMOVAL DEVICE shown in the drawings, whether those features are features of one of shape, configuration, ornament or pattern or a combination of any of these features. The portions of the AIR REMOVAL DEVICE shown in broken lines are for illustrative purpose only and form no part of the design. The zig-zag break lines shown in Figures 1-5 and 8-12 are intended to showportions of the AIR REMOVAL DEVICE having indefinite length.Drawings of the design are included, in which:Figure 1 is a top front perspective view of the AIR REMOVAL DEVICE according to a first variant;Figure 2 is a right side view of the Figure 1 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 3 is a left side view of the Figure 1 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 4 is a front view of the Figure 1 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 5 is a rear side view of the Figure 1 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 6 is a top view of the Figure 1 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 7 is a bottom view of the Figure 1 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 8 is a top front perspective view of the AIR REMOVAL DEVICE according to a second variant;Figure 9 is a right side view of the Figure 8 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 10 is a left side view of the Figure 8 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 11 is a front view of the Figure 8 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 12 is a rear side view of the Figure 8 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE;Figure 13 is a top view of the Figure 8 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE; andFigure 14 is a bottom view of the Figure 8 AIR REMOVAL DEVICE.

Methods for processing glass using select wavelength radiation in a convective environment, broadly referred to as “Local Temporary Annealing”, “LASER Edge Strengthening” and “LASER Enhanced Thermal Strengthening.” Local Temporary Annealing allows strengthened glass to be brought to a neutral stress state so daughter units can be cut from strengthened glass and other processes usually only performed on annealed glass. LASER Edge Strengthening allows surface compression to be thermally imparted to the edges of a whole sheet or daughter units cut from annealed glass, or modification of residual edge stress profiles in strengthened glass to produce stable, strengthened edges. LASER Enhanced Thermal Strengthening allows surface compression to be imparted to a sheet of annealed glass whilst maintaining reduced surface temperatures so the glass has superior geometric stability and surface compression can be imparted at levels not conventionally possible.

An exercise slide board is disclosed having a main board, a pair of backstops and a floor grip device. The main board has a top surface and a bottom surface. The top surface is smooth and low friction to allow a user wearing low-friction footwear to easily slide across the board. The first and second backstops are positioned at or near a first end of the main board and a second end of the main board, respectively. The first and second backstops may have a base surface configured to abut against the top surface of the main board. The first and second backstops may also have a strike surface facing toward a center of the main board and extending away from the top surface of the main board at an angle away from the center of the board. The floor grip device is affixed on the bottom surface of the main board. The floor grip device is configured to grip both a hard flooring surface and a carpeted flooring surface. A non-slip mesh may be used. The floor grip device may grip the flooring surface so as to create a frictional force to secure the main board relative to the flooring surface in response to and against lateral forces applied in a direction planar to the flooring surface and transverse to and against the strike surfaces of the backstops.
