    摘要: A pressure container forms a shaft gasifier for receiving coarse coal in the form of a coal bed. A burner extends through the pressure container into a chamber therein and produces at least one primary gas jet directed against the coal bed, thereby gasifying the coal and generating a product gas and forming liquid slag. The liquid slag collects in a slag bath tank having an overflow weir over which the collected slag flows and falls freely toward a cooling water bath beneath the chamber. A water jet nozzle directs at least one water jet against the liquid slag as it falls freely between the weir and the cooling water bath. This atomizes the liquid slag, thereby cooling the slag and generating steam. At least a part of the steam is supplied as process steam to the coarse coal.

    摘要: Process including use of an arrangement for the gasification of fuels with oxygen or oxygen-containing gases and steam, includes a shaft-like vessel for receiving solid charging stock. A gas discharge duct is provided on the upper end of the vessel and a primary gas chamber is in connection with the shaft-like vessel on its lower end via a passage. In the primary gas chamber a burner is provided, which includes feedings for oxygen or oxygen-containing gases as well as for fuels. A trough for receiving slag is arranged below the primary gas chamber and a supporting bottoms is provided between the trough and the shaft-like vessel, reaching into the primary gas chamber, for the formation of a dumping material bed of the solid charging stock facing the burner by one dumping surface. In order to be able to gasify low-quality fuels into a high-quality product gas, the primary gas chamber includes a charging opening for charging a charging stock to be gasified. The supporting floor, on the side of the burner, is extended to such an extent that a second dumping stock bed of the charging stock to be gasified forms, lying in front of the first dumping surface and facing the burner with a second, free, dumping surface.

    摘要: Dry coal powder is fed to a high-pressure coal gasification reactor from a high-pressure chamber in inert gas. The powder is introduced in the chamber via a centrifugal pump having an inlet tube passing through a wall of the chamber and a rotor inside the chamber, which rotor throws the powder into the chamber through radial nozzles by centrifugal force. Gas leakage from the chamber through the centrifugal pump is created to prevent blockage.

    摘要: A method for desulfurizing exhaust gases such as flue gases from steam generators that have been charged with brown coal, in which powdered lime is charged into the furnace and then removed or precipitated from the flowing exhaust gases after a certain reaction time. The dust or particulate matter which has been removed from the flowing exhaust gas stream, and which is at least partially charged with noxious substances along the surfaces thereof, is pulverized and then subjected to dry stream hydration, followed by recycling into the flue gas stream which has been cooled to a lower temperature. During the dry steam treatment, the points of fracture or exposure of the pulverized particulate additive are activated so that Ca(OH).sub.2 formation takes place, which has a high affinity for sulfur dioxide at low temperature. An apparatus for pulverizing and hydrating the particulate matter is also provided.

    摘要: A process is disclosed for quenching of the partial combustion product gas of a slagging coal gasifier containing suspended molten slag particles wherein the hot product gas of the gasifier is passed through a tubular quench zone into which a shielding gas is introduced circumferentially to form an annular layer or protective gas shield between the product gas and the walls of the quench zone and a cooling gas is injected radially to effect direct cooling of the product gas to a temperature at which the molten slag particles solidify and lose their stickiness, said protective gas shield being maintained for a sufficient distance along the axis of the quench zone to prevent contact between the quench zone walls and the hot product gas during said cooling.
