    摘要: In order to provide a method for the thermal conditioning of an auxiliary material, which, to clean a crude gas stream loaded with an organic pollutant, is configured to be introduced into the crude gas stream and together with the organic pollutant forms a stable system of pollutant and auxiliary material, which can be carried out easily and in a resource-saving manner, it is proposed that the method includes the following steps: feeding the system of pollutant and auxiliary material and a carrier gas stream that has been heated in relation to normal conditions into a thermal conditioning device; chemical conversion of at least a part of the organic pollutant to produce a conditioned auxiliary material; separating the conditioned auxiliary material from the auxiliary material loaded with an organic pollutant by transportation by means of a gas flow; and removing the conditioned auxiliary material from the thermal conditioning device.

    摘要: This invention proposes a method of removing pollutants from high temperature gases prior to their introduction in to a heat exchanger of a steam generating boiler within a power generation system. The method places a filter system (100) in a hot gas flow path upstream of a waste-heat boiler. The filter system has at least two banks of substantially hollow elongate filters (110), each of which filters particles from the gas flow as it flows from an external surface thereof to an internal surface thereof. Valves (104, 106) enable each bank of filters to be isolated from the hot gas flow path. The method included periodically isolating at least one bank of filters while passing hot gasses through at least another of the banks of filters, and cleaning the isolated bank of filters. After cleaning the filters (110) lime is injected into the flow path so that it coats the outer surface of the filters (110) to produce a loose lime coating thereon.

    摘要: A system and method suitable for the removal of pollutants from gases with a circulating dry scrubber system having a circulating dry scrubber reactor containing a fluidized bed adapted to contact the gas with a dry reagent within the fluidized bed. The system includes a housing fluidically coupled to the reactor, a filter array within the housing, and an internal hopper within the housing and adapted to return at least some of the particulates to the fluidized bed within the circulating dry scrubber reactor. The scrubbed gas stream exits the circulating dry scrubber reactor and flows upward between an interior of the housing and an exterior of the internal hopper before contacting the filter array. The exterior of the internal hopper is exposed to the scrubbed gas stream, and the scrubbed gas stream is not recirculated to the circulating dry scrubber reactor to maintain the fluidized bed therein.
