An operating system utilized by the computer apparatus is detected by an embedded controller, and datapaths for transmitting sensing signals to a platform controller hub are switched according to the operating system utilized by the computer apparatus by the embedded controller.

A method of displaying images via touching and an electronic apparatus thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps. A basic input/output system (BIOS) is loaded to execute an initialization program of the electronic apparatus, where the electronic apparatus has not loaded an operating system. The touch display module is defined to include a human interface device, and the touch display device has a virtual input area, and an input interface is displayed at the virtual input area. A touch event is generated when the touch display device is touched, and a coordinate value is generated according to the touch event. When the coordinate value locates in the input interface, the coordinate value corresponds to a functional code of the human interface device, and a corresponding operation is executed according to the functional code.

A control method of a power supply path includes detecting a plug-in state of a first connector through a configuration channel pin of the first connector; acquiring a plurality of rated voltages of a first power adaptor externally connected to the first connector and a rated current corresponding to each of the rated voltages; detecting a plug-in state of a second connector through a direct-current (DC) input pin of the second connector; acquiring a power quota of a second power adaptor externally connected to the second connector; selecting, from the plurality of rated voltages, the largest one that is not greater than an operating voltage, as a selected rated voltage; calculating a power quota of the selected rated voltage; and controlling a switching circuit to couple a power circuit to a power pin of one of the first and second connectors according to the two power quotas.

A touch device includes a touch sensing unit, a processing unit, an embedded controller and a digital controller. The touch sensing unit has a first control mode and a second control mode, and senses a touch event from a touch stylus. The embedded controller is coupled to the processing unit. The digital controller is coupled to the touch sensing unit, the embedded controller and the processing unit, and receives a general-purpose input/output (GPIO) signal from the embedded controller. When the GPIO signal is in a first value, the digital controller reports the first control mode to the processing unit. When the GPIO signal is in a second value, the digital processor reports the second control mode to the processing unit. Thus, the performance of the touch device and the touch stylus is improved.

A touch display method is configured for an electronic apparatus including a touch display module and an embedded controller. The touch display module includes a touch display device and a touch input controller. The method includes following steps: loading a BIOS to perform an initialization operation when the electronic apparatus has not loaded an operating system; defining a virtual input area in the touch display device; and further displaying an input interface on the virtual input area. Generate a touch event when the touch display device is touched and translate the touch event into a coordinate by the touch input controller. If the coordinate is in the input interface, the touch input controller outputs a function signal to the embedded controller through the hardware interface. The embedded controller translates the function signal into a scan code for the electronic apparatus to execute operations corresponding to the scan code.
